When I was in college. I went on a conservation trip to Kenya. Lions were eating the local tribes “cattle” at a record high. So the organization I went with built lion proof fences and also taught the locals how to make money off the lions through tourism! It was so amazing. And to add to what you said about hunters. The local guide we had said the tribe elders had a mentality of “conservation through utilization”. That phrase should make sense to all hunters.
Thank you for taking the time to do a proper video and to educate. I’ve learned so much about fishing, hunting and now conservation from your videos.
Africa is beautiful and didn't realize how personal the hunt's were to the locals, it has a great effect on them if the hunt's don't happen. A lot learned on this video, thanks Rob.

I have yet to hunt my own animal yet, at the age of 40 I just got my hunting license in Utah SLC and hope to one day experience something similar. God Bless you all. Keep up the good work. I hope Robert gets a chance to see this I watched the video when he released it. However, I saw to many uneducated comments to even want to respond at that point. I would like to say don’t get discouraged this was an excellent video keep educating and those who don’t even watch or are to caught up in their own way of thinking to learn can hit the road!

I used to trash talk the everglade seasoning without tasting it, but when I went deep sea fishing in Pensacola last year I bought one; It was one the best thing seasoning I've ever tasted. It's like a dry version of the Haitian Epis. Luckily I find it at Ingles near my house.
What a fun and educational video. Sarah if you're reading this, can I just tell you that I feel every emotion with you during your hunts. You can just tell how much it means to you not only to succeed in the hunt but the appreciation you have for the cause and for the animal you are harvesting. The entire Africa series was a great watch and learning about the Zebras for this video was super informative. Knowing how much hunters impact the world with animal control is such a great thing to be a part of. I'm not a hunter by traditional terms but as a person who likes to fish and has taught people to fish, following rules and regulations is so important across the spectrum. What a great moment that had to have been for you Sarah' Congrats once again for helping out the property owners and all that you, Rob and Austin did while there in Africa. Your family continues to show true love for nature and the outdoors and You're all amazing people. Great video editing Rob as always and great story telling by both of you. Everyone say's, "One of these days.."intending on something, but really, one day, There will be no more, "One of these days". Don't put off seeing a loved one , friend or doing something you have always wanted to do or see. We all have an expiration date, it is just not stamped on us. I love seeing this beautiful family living their best lives and teaching the kids the same, all under the presence of our Lord. This family are a great example of what an American family is all about. You should write a book Robert or Sarah or Betty! Family perfection!

@Mr. Hooter I look around my property all the time. Deer, hawks, all sorts of stuff. Can't exactly see Zebra and Wildebeest in my area so yeah of course it's foreign to me. Africa has some unique wildlife. Also what even is your comment supposed to add to any sort of meaningful conversation? Beautiful video! Hunting, particularly big game hunting, gets a bad rap, but 99% of the time...hunters are the biggest animal lovers. Doing whatever it takes to conserve and ensure the survival of the heard/pack/whatever as a whole.

In South Africa with corruption being such a massive issue if it wasn't for private game farms managing these animals from birth to table, a lot of these species would not exist anymore in South Africa. It's a massive responsibility. Massive amount of pressure and stress, but at the end of the day everyone gets to enjoy the beautiful nature and the animals within because of them. Hats off to everyone on these farms contributing to the conservation of the local fauna and flora, literally dedicating their lives (And sometimes losing it) to the effort.

Well Robert I went to Naples from Michigan to visit my in laws and made sure I went to Publix to get me some Everglades seasoning. I put it on some of my Venison backstraps and you are right ,that is some good stuff!!!

The people who protest hunting don't realise the contributions hunters bring to the local economy of the areas they visit. It goes beyond the monetary value of the target species and spills over into the surrounding communities and infrastructure. The skinners, the game capture teams, the hospitality staff, and all the other participants in the value chain lose their jobs when hunting is banned.
