The song you did by Aaron Tippin recently was from 1991. And a great song you're missing out on also from the 90s is Alan Jackson's "Chatahoochie!" It is just PURE FUN. And of course, you gotta get back to Garth "Friends In Low Places", from 1990.
as for fun/funny country songs from the 1990s,"Bubba Shot The Jukebox" by Mark Chesnutt,"If Bubba Can Dance" by Shennendoah,"The Church On Cumberland Road" by Shennendoah,"Ain't Nothing Wrong With The Radio" and "Kiss This" both by Aaron Tippin are musts.
Here's a great song by Buck Owens and Dwight Yokem the name of the song is. Streets of Bakersfield. I promise y'all will love it's a up beat country song and great video!!!
Decent song but if you're going to recommend Joe Diffie the conversation has to start with 3rd Rock From the Sun, prop Me Up Beside the Jukebox till I die, and John Deere Green before you recommend anything else by him. Those are by far and away hands down his three best songs and it's not even close. If I had to pick a number for it would be so help me girl
For another great uptempo song by Wade, try "Wade Hayes - Don't Stop" Also he does some great love songs One of my favs, Wade Hayes - I'm Still Dancin' With You By the way, Wade Hayes is a Cancer survivor. In 2011 he was diagnosed with stage 4 Colon Cancer and had surgery and chemo and beat it.
A fun song fer sure! There’s still a lot of traditional country in the 90s; George Strait (the King) & Alan Jackson are stalwarts of keeping things traditional. Brad Paisley, Diamond Rio, & Confederate Railroad also have a lot of traditional songs: Alan Jackson - “Midnight in Montgomery” George Strait - “I Cross My Heart” Brad Paisley - “He Didn’t Have To Be” Diamond Rio - “Bubba Hyde” Conf RR - “Daddy Never Was The Cadillac Kind” Brad started in the late 90s, hit it big in the 2000s.
90's country was the best era in my opinion, so many great artists, so many awesome songs. Country music became the genre to listen to back then. Alan Jackson, George Strait, John Michael Montgomery, Brooks & Dunn, Reba, Trisha Yearwood, Lorrie Morgan, Martina McBride, Clint Black, Collin Raye, Vince Gill, Neal McCoy. These are only a few of the greats from the 90's. When I listen to country music, its almost exclusively from the 90's.
90s country is my favorite country. 90s music altogether was a big era for me! Garth brooks, Alan Jackson, George strait, John michael Montgomery, clay walker, Tracy Lawrence, Tracy Byrd, trace Adkins, mark chesnutt, Neal McCoy, lee Roy Parnell, Trisha yearwood, faith hill, Tim McGraw, … I mean, that just to name a few of the artists!!!
Check out some Leroy Parnell for some more great great 90s country. "On The Road" "Tender Moment" "What Kind Of Fool Do You Think I Am" "I'm Holding My Own" "Take These Chains From My Heart" (Duet with Ronnie Dunn. Their cover of a Hank Williams classic) ...Jay will love this one!
There's definitely a strain of American roots rock that flows directly from 80s rock artists like Bruce Springsteen, John Mellencamp, and Huey Lewis right into 90s country. A lot of the growth of country music in the 90s was from 80s rock fans who didn't like 90s rock. This has actually happened many times. Several generations of rock fans have migrated to country as they've aged. And country music often has elements of the previous generation of rock music. It sort of feeds off itself. Also, another Oklahoman that I don't think you guys have done is Toby Keith. You should check him out.
Wade and I grew up together in Bethel Acres Oklahoma. He was always one of the nicest people you would ever want to meet and still is. A great musician and songwriter, and a survivor of stage 4 colon cancer. I'm proud to have been his friend.
he’s a great artist and so underrated.. try - still dancing with you, what I meant to say, in a Chevy in a hurry, I’m lonesome too… great guitarist as well
I love Doug....love Carousel and used to sing We're all here cause we're not all there at work quite regularly...lol 5 Generations of Rock County Wilsons
When I was in high school, the Hayes family was two houses down from us, which is a half mile out in the country . Don Hayes had a very popular band based out of Shawnee and Wade sharpened his skills during his school years playing in the band. Great guy and a great family !
I love the fact that you're reacting to songs that were done by artists that a lot of us remember, but the artists didn't have huge, long running careers like Garth, Alan, George, etc. I'd like to recommend "Rebecca Lynn" by Bryan White. It's another '90s country song I think you'd both like.
90s country is the best! There are so many fun songs from that time. One really fun one that I never see anyone react to is “When God Fearing Women Get the Blues” by Martina McBride! I’m loving you guys doing more country reactions!
He was amazing and was was everywhere, then it seemed he just disappeared. It seems to me there was a reason. It's just been so many yrs. I'm excited to see what our Rob Squad Family has to say to educate us all 😍 Made me smile 😊
If you love country songs that tell a story, please try: People Are Crazy by Billy Currington What Was I Thinkin' by Dierks Bentley When It Rains It Pours-Luke Combs Drunk On A Plane-Dierks Bentley. The official videos are great!! And so are you!!
Being from North Carolina, I’m a fan of the Duke shirt. This was the only song I really heard from him, but there was so many new country artists in that time frame. God bless you guys.
A song usually requested at a DJ event is Darth Brooks "Friends in Lowly Places". People will make a circle with their arms on each others shoulders and sing along with the song. They do the same with Billy Joel's Piano man.
Wade hayes is just a great country singer, he's definitely got great vocals, you should check out his song up north down south, back east, out west, true story: wade hayes had cancer in a part of his body, I can't remember where but it was in his body and he battled it for a while, until his doctor got him better, I can't believe that would happen to a country artist like that, I love wade hayes songs, keep up the good work wade love ya man ♥ ♥ 😎
Garth Brooks - That Summer is a must if you haven’t done it. My fave is Much Too Young To Feel This Damn Old -beautiful, soaring fiddle in that one. Callin’ Baton Rouge and Ain’t Goin’ Down are a lot of fun.
I am so excited you found Wade Hayes!! He has a great baritone voice. The concerts were a lot of fun. Songs I loved I'm Still Dancing With You, I Still Do, When the Wrong One Loves You Right, and another danceable one- Tore Up From the Floor Up. I thought he did a version of Wichita Lineman.
For Garth Brooks, "Shameless", "The Dance" "The River" "Friends in Low Places" and "If Tomorrow Never Comes". Also Alan Jackson. I went to a concert when I was 8 months pregnant, and my son was quiet inside while the opening band played, but he danced through all the Alan Jackson songs! Chatahoochie is really fun!
I used to hate Country Music until I happened into it in 1993 and it grew stronger and stronger within me until it overtook my love for every other genre. I still listen to hard rock, 80s, pop, R&B, but at 50 years old now my comfort zone rests firmly in Country Music, predominantly 90s Country. There's no better decade imo for this genre than the 90s!
Wade has great music. I love 80s and 90s music. Wade has so many great songs. You have to check out more. Some are more ballads. But all are great. In a Chevy (the day you left Tulsa), I'm still dancing with you, and so many more.
Hey guy's! I'd like to pass along a bunch of country songs that did very well on the country/pop rock charts back in the day. 1) Terri Gibbs - Somebody's Knockin' '81 2) Juice Newton - Heart Of The Night '83 3) TG Shepherd - I Loved 'Em Everyone '83 4) Bobbi Martin - For The Love Of Him '70 5) Restless Heart - Bluest Eyes In Texas '88 6) John Anderson - When It Comes To You '92 7) Waylon Jennings - Rose In Paradise '87. Enjoy if you've never heard them before!
90s country was traditional with a modern touch. Maybe the best decade overall. Need another Patty Loveless. Youll Never Leave Harlan Alive live version from 2001. Austin City Limits TV show
90's country was the golden age. Get yourself some Clint Black, Alan Jackson, Dixie Chicks, Diamond Rio, Brooks and Dunn, Garth, Keith Urban, George Strait, LeAnn Rimes, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Martina McBride, Brad Paisley, Trace Adkins, Kenny Chesney, Trisha Yearwood, Travis Tritt, Toby Keith, Patty Loveless, Randy Travis. So many great big names, and some smaller ones with fantistic tunes too. For me, 70's rock, 80's pop and 90's country were awesome.
Wade Hayes is worth another reaction. I'd suggest "Don't Stop" or "What I Meant To Say". For more 90s country I'd suggest Colin Raye and Billy Dean. Colin Raye: "That's My Story" Billy Dean: "Billy The Kid"
When I hear this country song and still have "The Cover of The Rolling Stone" stuck in my head, I think you'll enjoy John Denver's "Grandma's Feather Bed." He even sang the song on The Muppet Show.
I loved Wade Hayes and this song when it came out. Think I got to see him in '97 because my area used to hold a country festival each year and he performed. Those were some great concerts that I got to see for free because I worked the 4-H booth/area. Blessed early teen years
Please guys, can you do an Olivia Newton-John song for female friday, it's been a while!!! "Twist of fate" is a cool song from her second movie with John Travolta "Two of a kind" in 1983 or "A little more love" from 1978/79, "Sam" is a nice ballad as well. Thanks
I have never noticed before that both Clint Black and Joe Diffie are in this music video. Haven't quite finished it yet I will keep looking but I have a feeling that this is also a video that has Reba in it but I could possibly be thinking of a Vince Gill song.
I love Wade. I have seen him in concert and met him over 100 times. Anything u want to know just ask me Please react to his song go live your life. He beat cancer 2xs.. the 2nd time he was given a 12% chance of living. I got go live your life tattooed on my arm I am cancer survivor also.
Tracy Byrd - Watermelon Crawl Neal McCoy - The Shake Mark Chesnutt - Going through the Big D John Michael Montgomery - Beer and Bones Just a few fun ones from the 90s
Whenever I think of 90's country male artists I think of Travis Tritt singing "Trouble" which I think came out in 92 or 93. The song was in the Pauly Shore film "Son In Law" which you've seen. Another movie I recommend for your movie channel is "Honeymoon In Vegas", released in 1992, which starred Nicholas Cage, James Caan and Sarah Jessica Parker. The soundtrack has some great Elvis songs and has many 90's male country singers as well.
Great Wade Hayes songs: "I'm Still Dancing With You", "On a Good Night", "Life After Loving You", "Up North (Down South, Back East, Out West)", "What I Meant Say". Great Garth Brooks songs: "Beaches of Cheyenne", "If Tomorrow Never Comes", "What She's Doing Now", and, did you know Garth did a cover of a KISS song, "Hard Luck Woman".
Why don't you do Robert Plant and Allison Krauss? They teamed up and did an album that won them an Album of the Year Grammy. Not familiar with the songs but thought you'd want to check out another non-Zep project of Plant's.
1950's, 1960's Roger Miller "You Can't Roller Skate in a Buffalo Herd", "Dang Me", "King of the Road".
Can’t forget ‘Do Wacka Do’
The song you did by Aaron Tippin recently was from 1991. And a great song you're missing out on also from the 90s is Alan Jackson's "Chatahoochie!" It is just PURE FUN. And of course, you gotta get back to Garth "Friends In Low Places", from 1990.
They DEFINITELY need to do the LIVE version of Garth Brooks- friends in low places! The famous 3rd verse!!!
Ffs play Tragically Hip... New Orleans is Sinking
Aaron tippin. lol. Couldn’t hold Wade hayes’ jock.
as for fun/funny country songs from the 1990s,"Bubba Shot The Jukebox" by Mark Chesnutt,"If Bubba Can Dance" by Shennendoah,"The Church On Cumberland Road" by Shennendoah,"Ain't Nothing Wrong With The Radio" and "Kiss This" both by Aaron Tippin are musts.

Here's a great song by Buck Owens and Dwight Yokem the name of the song is. Streets of Bakersfield. I promise y'all will love it's a up beat country song and great video!!!
“I’m Still Dancing With You” is my favorite of his.
Joe Diffie; "Pick up man", "Third rock from the sun", " so help me girl", "bigger than the beatles", etc. His voice is very distinct.
"Third Rock From the Sun" and "Down In a Ditch" are my top two story songs that he did.
If y'all liked this, you'll go bonkers for Tracy Byrd! His song "Watermelon Crawl" is straight fire! 🔥
Wade Hayes is 90s country gold. You should check out What I Meant To Say and The Day That She Left Tulsa. Unmistakable voice when you hear Wade Hayes.
I love “What I meant to Say”! Such a great song.
Restless Heart “I’ll Still be loving You”. Bob Carlisle Butterfly Kisses.
Joe Diffie's song If the Devil Danced (In Empty Pockets) is an amazing 90s country song. Recommend.
Love the way some country artists play with the words. Like if the devil danced, cleopatra Queen of denial, etc.
For another great uptempo song by Wade, try "Wade Hayes - Don't Stop"
Also he does some great love songs One of my favs, Wade Hayes - I'm Still Dancin' With You
By the way, Wade Hayes is a Cancer survivor. In 2011 he was diagnosed with stage 4 Colon Cancer and had surgery and chemo and beat it.
A fun song fer sure! There’s still a lot of traditional country in the 90s; George Strait (the King) & Alan Jackson are stalwarts of keeping things traditional. Brad Paisley, Diamond Rio, & Confederate Railroad also have a lot of traditional songs:
Alan Jackson - “Midnight in Montgomery”
George Strait - “I Cross My Heart”
Brad Paisley - “He Didn’t Have To Be”
Diamond Rio - “Bubba Hyde”
Conf RR - “Daddy Never Was The Cadillac Kind”
Brad started in the late 90s, hit it big in the 2000s.
I really want them to check Brad out they will love his guitar playing
:) Nice list.
Shanadoah's "If Bubba Can Dance I Can Too" is another one!
Confederate Railroads I like my women a little on the trashy side and When you leave that way you can never go back
90's country was the best era in my opinion, so many great artists, so many awesome songs. Country music became the genre to listen to back then. Love me some 90s country and Wade Hayes. My favorite of his was always How Do You Sleep At Night.
I used to hate Country Music until I happened into it in 1993 and it grew stronger and stronger within me until it overtook my love for every other genre.
Colin Raye: "That's My Story"
Billy Dean: "Billy The Kid"
When I hear this country song and still have "The Cover of The Rolling Stone" stuck in my head, I think you'll enjoy John Denver's "Grandma's Feather Bed." He even sang the song on The Muppet Show.

I'm not normally a country fan but I ❤ this song!
Please guys, can you do an Olivia Newton-John song for female friday, it's been a while!!!

Sammy Kershaw, "Vidalia", "Meant to be", "You are the love of my life", "Queen of the double wide". Etc
Great Wade Hayes songs: "I'm Still Dancing With You", "On a Good Night", "Life After Loving You", "Up North (Down South, Back East, Out West)", "What I Meant Say".
