Butter Chicken has been made so popular on American YT. I never see it in Indian restaurant menus or at least never took notice of it before till the last couple of years. As the UK is the home of curries😂 the Korma is a big deal and lamb curries and tikka masala are the typicals here as well as some type of dahl dish. This restaurant does look great, and hope to try it out as it’s Michelin starred. Dishoom was a big deal for a while, at least in London anyway. For everyone saying butter chicken is a big deal in India!! I have no doubt that it is. My original comment was specifically about what is popular in the west. As someone grown up in the UK and knowing how big curries are here, once again butter chicken is not the dish that is commonly popular with the majority non Asians who order it in the UK. Again this is a dish I have come to know from watching Americans on YT and Instagram trying it in different restaurants in short clips. So it was no surprise that it’s one of the dishes highlighted by an American in the UK. I’m pretty sure the British public are also ordering more butter chicken as is the trend. Chicken Tikka Massala is an english dish with indian roots believe it or not, it was found by an Indian imigrant in UK. The same thing with "Döner"🥙..it was found in the 70's in West-Berlin,Germany. Till the 2000's you couldn't eat Döner 🥙 in Turkey like this. Very few restaurants offered it. They used to eat Döner in turkey on a plate 🍽️without sauce and bread. I think even without salad. Just some onions on top the meat. But the real Döner(Berlin version) is eaten like an arabic Shawarma 🌯but different meat,bread(flatbread),sauce(garlic,🌶️ & a kind of herb sauce) & salad (🍅🧅🥬)

Chicken Tikka Massala is an english dish with indian roots believe it or not, it was found by an Indian imigrant in UK. The same thing with "Döner"🥙..it was found in the 70's in West-Berlin,Germany. Till the 2000's you couldn't eat Döner 🥙 in Turkey like this. Very few restaurants offered it. They used to eat Döner in turkey on a plate 🍽️without sauce and bread. I think even without salad. Just some onions on top the meat. But the real Döner(Berlin version) is eaten like an arabic Shawarma 🌯but different meat,bread(flatbread),sauce(garlic,🌶️ & a kind of herb sauce) & salad (🍅🧅🥬)
