While I didn't explicitly mention it in the video, as one of you kindly pointed out, the 4th Fairy Tail omnibus hasn't been officially announced, and it's been 8 months since the last volume released. Right now, the only way to collect the full series is through the singles (or the box sets). Hope this helps clarify things and just something to keep in mind when collecting the series.

So with Fairy Tail it can be summed up as "Do you want it small? With more volumes packed in or BIG?". Kind of funny that the Master Editions look like they'd be the super special edition with the color pages and so on but nope, just the regular version but blown up.
For Hunter X Hunter single volumes. Rurouni Kenshin certain single volumes can be tough to get; they also have the Vizbig editions. I prefer the singles. Inuyasha I wish they had single volumes. Their Vizbig editions are good.
Here in germany the omnibus editions have a white colour sceme with a large group shot on the matching spines so I think for display and money reasons this is the best version to collect. At lesat for germans

Finished reading the series a few days ago. It was quite fun and enjoyable despite already watched the anime years ago. The art also helps making some of the female characters more cute, and therefore more easy to like them than the anime
I think they canceled the omnibus edition too!!! I bought the first 2 buses, but then Kodansha went radio silent. I just gave up and went for the boxsets. I only started collecting manga about 2 years ago, but I think kodasha is so bad, expensive and poorly made volumes, I've lost count of the volumes where the inside pages are bigger than the cover, so bad just like my english 🤣
