There are many vehicles that are unsafe. Chrysler, Dodge, Ram and Jeep are now owned and manufactured by FIAT. Everyone on the planet knows that Fiat can only manufacture a POS vehicle.
One of the main reasons why we own a Subaru Outback and Forester is bc they’re such a safe vehicle. Their accident avoidance is superior. They’ve earned the IIHS Safety Plus awards. The traction control system is the best on planet earth and their reliability is great… though not as good as a Toyota in reliability but superior in crash worthiness.
It’s a crossover suv like the Tiguan also it’s considered a suv be a once again like the Tiguan you can Gert and optional third row like many suv like the Mercedes gle
That Tesla is an suv? It should be good with that whole front end being a crumple zone. Looked like the ceiling plastic fell apart tho. Looks like Hyundai & Kia need to spend some money on the structure instead if gimmicks, maybe Jeep also.
They should just test the top few most common accidents. It’s not helpful if the manufacturers build vehicles to pass these tests but do nothing for more common accidents. I’m not saying this isn’t one of those accidents but I do believe the insurance tests and highway safety board tests aren’t the same.
One thing you did not consider is how much the rear of the car flies on impact. The Wrangler did the best in that aspect. Same with Palisade (Kind of).
The cx9 says 2021 while all the others are 2022. Its because of the new rear seatbelt part of this test and the fact this is an older model. Mazda fixed this in the cx90. The replacement for the cx9.
Did anyone else notice that every interior color was either Depressing Grey or Death Black which became popular in 1990? Dang that was 33 years of the same depressing, gloomy, drab, boring interior colors. Usually classy or upscale vehicles have tan, brown, red, blue, bright cheerful colors. It’s a proven fact that when there’s civil unrest, poor economy, wars and rumors of wars, uncertain future’s people run to depressing dark drab colors. Yet when there’s civil rest, booming economy, people feel safer, their future’s look better than people flock to cheerful, happy, bright colors. Apparently automobile manufacturers are depressed, worried about their futures so they outwardly Force their own ideas on everyone else in the world. We purposefully bought our Outback with warm ivory interior and or Forester’s interior is saddle brown. The upholstery in our 11 Ranger pickup was gloomy grey and depressing black so I had it reupholstered in Red with black stitching and trim to match the custom 2 tone exterior paint. It was Silver, (we don’t like silver, grey or black), so I had our pickup 2 toned in Silver over Red metallic. I’ve had countless complements on the 2 tone paint and the interior colors. Everyone who has a silver pickup always have it 2 toned in depressing grey or black. Our Ranger XLT super cab 4X4 pickup has a one of a kind 2 toned paint and custom pin stripes. Custom wheels, running boards, full skid plates, Line X bed liner, air shocks on the rear, mud flaps, window vents, tow pkg, limited slip differential, K&N cold air intake, 3” FlowMaster exhaust, Free Flow headers. Before doing modifications to the intake and exhaust I got 19mpg on the freeway with the cruise set on 75mph. I now get 23mpg consistently. We mainly use our pickup for work around our property, so it’s now 12 years old and has only 35K original miles. We drive it about 3K miles a year. I change the oil every 6 months which is about 1,500 miles. On our Subie’s I change the oil every 4K miles with Kirkland full synthetic. Every 30K miles I change the front and rear differential, transfer case, transmission flush, bleed the brakes and back flush the radiator and add new antifreeze. Every 60K miles I change all the belts and hoses. We’re in our 50s and plan on keeping our Ranger until we die. In spring of 24, Subaru is coming out with the totally redesigned Forester with the available hybrid system from the Rav / Venza, so I’ll be selling my 19 Forester Touring and buying a Hybrid Forester Touring and I plan on driving it until I die. We’ll probably have to replace my wife’s Outback and hopefully by then the Outback will be offered with a hybrid. She’ll probably drive that one until she dies.
How do you get the job putting the marker tape on the dummies and cars? I want to do that.
Honestly, this looks like a fun job to have. Launching new cars into a barrier
Dont buy a Jeep

8:49 is death car look at crash and what suv want me to get Ford explorer?
It doesn’t even have a side airbag
I feel sorry for the dummy in the back seat ,flying all over the place😢😮
Ford explorer is not bad!
Why no rear end crash, guessing the third row would not be where to sit
We have the 2022 Explorer. Happy to see how well it did.
Love my Tesla. Saved me from a couple accidents with the active safety measures. And if I do get in an accident, I know I’ll most likely be okay
The lack of an engine in the front also makes the car safer in frontal crashes.
same!
Ця модель тесли в сірого кольору красиво виглядають обично ця модель уродліва но в цьому цвете просто бомба 😊
Сумніваюсь в криші це точно
only thing i gotta say is... what are you gonna do to the batteries when they die since you cant bury them since they can still pollute the earth
i'd argue the wrangler should be very poor
Yeah… that grand cherokee looked like a death trap for that rear passenger. Broken neck, likely death.
Why didn’t the Wrangler side curtain airbags deploy?
there are none, only a front side body/head seat mounted airbag, but no curtain not in the front or back
@@musichearing1174 if the car is overturned or hit from the side it can be quite serious injury
Because of the design of the open air Jeep Wrangler
@@candiascott4528 i actually thought it was a law to have them in America. 🤷🏻♂️
The 2024 Wrangler has the curtain airbags now
I was planning to get a Grand Cherokee 💀💀

Subaru failed the side crash test and did poorly on moose test.

the reason i have explorer is because subarus are lesbian's cars.
Subaru is way overrated to the point that it’s hilarious. Junk

can i apply for the dummy position

Makes me feel so much better about getting a model y Performance! Considering I have 2 kids
Volvo is safer
what does Marginal really mean? Those vehicles look to have the same damage to me
for one thing: Atlas's rear airbag did not inflate on time.
Poor...marginal...good...best
@@2nickles647nope. Poor, marginal, acceptable, good.
It's actually Poor, Marginal, acceptable, good
So glad to have a Subaru Forester.
It earned a marginal rating in this test. Not good.
Why? It did so poorly in side crash test.
Atlas's rear airbag did not inflate on time.
Classic old Chrysler 300c I was 6 at 2008 now 16 best day
Unbelievavle for JEEP😂😂😂
Why do you mark up the left front tire
Me watching “oh no. Oh NO. OH IT GOT WORSE”
Don't be a backseat passenger in a Jeep ☠️
lol
Midsize suv but you test the highlander instead of the rav4, the cx9 instead of the cx5 ??

Ouch, look at how much the rear seat passengers are flung around in the poor rated vehicles... I wonder how Ford's rear inflatable belts rate?

The front was good. The seat belt in the rear did not have a pre-tensioner so it got a poor rating.
