I will give you a very small example of corruption in the army.
Mahar regiment was stationed in our area some15 years ago. Funds were allocated to it for laying grass on a hockey field. Around 7 lakhs or so. I accompanied the contractor who was given the task of laying the irrigation system. We were met by the colonel of the regiment who asked his orderly to take us to his subordinate a Major rank officer. To cut a long story short he asked for a bill of Rs 7 lakhs. He gave Rs 50,000 to my contractor friend, who in turn gave him the bill. In actual he delivered goods woth Rs 1.25 lakhs.
As far as laying the turf was concerned he ordered the NCOs to get doob grass from nearby areas. After that he had it transplanted all over the place.

Fauj me corruption phle v tha or aaj ki date v h ....pure bharat me agr sbse jyada corruption h to srf fauj me h ...fauj ka jawan corrupt nhi hai but bde bde officer sbhi corrupt h .. fauj me yk gym ka dumble jiski kimat market me 600-800 hota hai vo fauj me document me 5000 ka hota hai
