Hey guys. Thanks for watching the video. I Have been halting my RUclips production for a while now, as i have some other projects i am currently focusing on. So don't expect any new videos coming soon, maybe some shorts here and there if there is something interesting i want you to know. If you are still interested in content from me remember that i stream 6 days a week for roughly 7 hours on Twitch, my channel can be found in the description. For those of you who would like me to get back into recording and editing this kind of videos i would really appreciate if you could Sub to the channel, as currently more than 97% of the people who watched my videos aren't subscribed. As i said i won't post in a while, so you are not going to receive any annoying notification coming from the channel And once again, thanks for your time.
Great video, I was using them (have only played Empire so far) and didn´t even notice they had only 1 quiver. This explains why early game they seemed to excel for me, but when moving into mid-game (big field battles) I would fail or rather have to rely heavily on my legionnaires and cavalry.
I like the Palatine Guard. It's easy to find Imperial Recruits and easy to upgrade archers. But with some recent update, Battanian Noble line is so easy to find. If that changes, I'll switch back to these guys.
For me, their role ispretty limited to garrisoning cities. When playing Empire, i prefer to field crossbowmen for fire suppression, and let the infantry and cataphracts do the dirty work
I prefer their crossbowman. I generally avoid battles were I don't have an advantage, so range is king for crushing their archer line and circle formation. Also I just fin them to have low survivability, many dying in a single cavalry charge, while being completely useless once their arrows run out (which, as stated, doesn't take long). Right now, the only palatines in my formation are those that were already tier 4 archers when recruited.
someone run the numbers and yes, foot troops generally speaking don't care much about arm and leg since it counts for roughly 10% of the hits combined. on the other hand, Bows tend to get shot at and leg armor is more valuable for unshielded units. still not very important but more importnat than your tyipical foot infantry

I do love palentine, especially when working legionary since it takes the same recruit
i am very conflicted on them as I do give a lot of priority to holding position for long amounts of time. i think that for very fast (
@@LyonExodus really just being imperial so only need 1 recruit or I would go with Master archers
Just give this man a shield TW
how does the 1.8 update that gives them two quivers change your opinion on them? Ammo problem solved although not the melee or armor one
They are possibly the best shooter out of the standard T5 but their melee is still bad.
An update video should come out in the next few days
