The empire is a jack of all trades master of none. They are competitive against every faction and have an answer to every army if u stick to one factions units in playthroughs. Legionaries are amazing but all the heavy infantry perform what they need to do which is provide a shield wall and stay alive
Many thanks. Don't worry i am planning on doing all tier 5 and 6 in the game. i am very sorry for not being able to make them faster as my time for recording during the day is limited but comments like this always gives me the motivation to work on them even better.
@@janavavrova6448 fair enough, i do lieke my crossbowmen to be the main line of protection to my archers. so to each their own. I like that TaleWorld didn't copy paste them and they actually fit different playstyles
@@janavavrova6448 I use them in the same formations but i consider them to have different roles. you may have noticed that when mixed crossbows tend to stay in front of the archers, so if any infantry unit gets there they are the first one to engage. this is my main reasoning behinde liking the Sergeants more than the Vlandians, still the Vlandians pretty much don't miss and deliver more damage, if have to give votes they would both be an 8,
I use the sergeant's in the same way. They can deal with the occasional cavalry trooper that broke through the front line. First a bolt to the chest or head of the horse. Second a sword throug the neck or chest.

Nah vlandian sharpshooter is better VLANDIA FOREVER! BTW can you do one for vlandian banner knights?
It will happen but i can't promise it wil be anytime soon. they are very solid cavalry and quite good in sieges also.

What do you think about it? Do you think the better melee ability of the sergeant makes him the best crossbowman or not?
