Awesome build. Got lucky and was able to pick up the original release of this kit (without the diorama) at NNL West last year with 3 sheets of photoetch. Once my skills get a bit better I'm looking forward to building it, and now I have your great guide to watch out for trouble spots along the way. Thanks for sharing your hard work as always!
Oh wow, I'd seen that set but I think it's pretty rare now. If your decals are no good, message Revell spares as they sent me a replacement decal sheet free of charge in the past. Very good service. I'm sure you're there abouts to tackle it. You may need a PE bending tool though.
@@BOABModels Great tip on the decals, thanks. I took a look before buying the kit and the sheet in the box still looks okay, we'll see how they hold up.
@scaleffect that's good! I've made Revell kits from the late '90s with decals that were still ok. They hold up better with age than Tamiya ones I think.
Looks great Thomas! Car looks fine nice job! Diorama is great addition! Maybe a coat of dull coat and model railway fencing, grass and a couple of shrubs might spice it up a bit. Just a thought. Great video Thanks Thomas! 😎
I like it! I'll probably put this on my list to look out for at model shows. enjoyed your video and the informative "bubbles". the diorama is a nice extra touch and I'd leave the audi nameplate off and cycle other race cars on it for display.
Very nice build.👍 🏁🏆
Thanks 👍

Cheers, Richard. Good ideas about upgrading the dio. I'm wondering if the bridge would look more in scale with smaller cars too.
@@BOABModels maybe you should talk to Tania about some wall space! 🙂

Much appreciated, I'm glad you like it. It seems the name plate is hard to remove without damaging it once you put it.
Nice build!
Thanks!
Another fine build Thomas.
Thank you very much, Chris
