I'm impressed you brought the k24 smoothly 💪👏 also ever since that video you explained you do all your camera work with a stand and really do your own work I have so much more respect for the content you push out
I am not very current on the cars you younger folks like specifically so one reason to follow you is to educate myself. I came from the era of big blocks and power by brute force. It was fun to see a few of the cars at the show even if to a certain extent they looked a lot alike to me. 😁
Mighty Car Mods put a K24 into an EK Civic. They also replaced the oil pump, allowing the engine to rev out to 8200 RPM. That higher rev limit with cams allowed the K24 to produce 215HP on the dyno with a Haltech ECU. P.S. If you intend to replace the engine by jacking the car up from the side and sliding the engine out/in from the side. Please add more footage of that. I saw a glimpse of you doing that in TikTok video and my mind was blown. I haven't seen anybody swap an engine that way before, most use an engine hoist or a lift to swap engines.
I've been sitting on a CBR929 motor, to put into a custom bike, for like 9 years.... :D It's just what we do as enthusiasts... We hang onto the good stuff because we'll get around to it or someone may need.
Being a car guy/gal is cool and fun😅. Driving, is cool and fun😅. Working on your car to make it run better is cool and fun😅. Thinking about how much better it's going to run when you're done working on your car is cool and fun😅. That's what makes us like this.... Lol!!!
Sally I’m not sure what you mean but there is a whole bunch of us that like you the way you are. Do you ever come east to race, like maybe VIR in Virginia.
I wish I had a shop or a garage too, but at least I don't have to work on my car parked on the street. My apartment building has underground parking. As long as I pay the $25 a month, landlord don't care if my car is up on jackstands with the transmission sitting behind it on a tire. It sucks not having a lift or air or anything, but it beats exposure to the elements.
I learned by watching other people that if you wanna make big power and a Honda motor reliably, you essentially need a billet engine to accomplish that. Honda engines are reliable from the factory, but they cannot handle boost on a regular basis. There are other platforms to consider when looking into engines.
Sally, if you look up- Ken Hill Elantra N Review, he has an interesting video with data charts from a track day with the stock Elantra N. His analysis on improvements may be interesting to you.
Sally you are really wonderful, you are living your best life. Keep doing what you are doing and loving it. 😊

Make T-shirts like your Alantra race car graphics I would buy one for sure.
It’s been raining 3-4 days a week for like 2 years so all my cars are basically abandoned at this point.
