The Segway GT2 has crazy acceleration for what it is. If the Klima is comparable then it’s a steal. The GT2 for me was pretty nerve racking on terrain other than a paved road. GT2 felt amazing on regular roads tho, very stable and safe feeling even at high speeds.
@wesontwowheels I had the dragon raptor too! I loved it. Until i wanted more. 😅. Im happy and contented with the klima. Acceleration/torque is awsome, the build is great, i love the matte finish, 70kmh top speed, great suspension, proper lights and horn, great range on the battery. But if you're after faster top speed, and doesnt want to spend too much, just add a little more on klima's $$$, dragon have the new lightning v2 which goes 90kmh to 100kmh i think, and the dragon hurricane. I havent tried them, nor had the chance, but they seem great.
I’ve heard the GT-2 being described as the “Escalade of scooters.” Long wheel base, tyre diameter and the torque of the Segway makes sense to me. But on the other hand so does the more nimble geometry and weight of the Klima. Beautiful scenery on that ride btw. I was trying to figure out if it here in Australia or the US. 😊
@@Indi4rence aw.. im still on the watch everytime i am riding.. i envy your state and others who have legalised the use of private e-scooters. Hoping NSW will do the same too..
@@GieOnScoot I could rant on about the cost of living in capital cities, tolls, one person occupant vehicle congestion, “net zero emissions”… I think at the very least state governments need to be receptive of PEVs and people wanting to make use of them as a part of their daily commute. Overhauling prohibitive laws in order to make them more accessible to everyday Australians is where to start.
I have a gt2 and I ride it as my main transportation it's pretty much the pefect scooter imo.. But I looking to get something alil more nimble and off road so I'm looking into this scooter.
It’s a decent scoot, but not worth the price, the specs are really weak compared to similarly priced scooters, I’d prefer burn e or klima, if I had that money I’d buy a scooter that could go over 100kph
I would say you're buying the build quality more than the performance. But it also has performance that rivals the top scooters. The only real issue is of the maintenance they're impossible to fix
Great Video I ride my Nami Klima in the Otways near Anglesea in Victoria. Let me know if you're ever down that way some epic trails

The GT2 is a great scooter, but if you're looking for something more nimble and off-road capable, the Klima might be a good choice.

I agree!
It is on sale for $2499.It's heavy.I just got a RS5 Max and love it.
Thats great! How much is the rs5 max?
@@GieOnScoot Go to the site.2299 at the moment. Also like 3 or 4 vids on it.
Good deal!
I Think it's overpriced for what it's worth.
Segways you're buying the brand not the performance. Compared to other high end scooters Segway is the KIA brand of scooters at a premium price
That's a good point.
