    I appreciate the details shared here. Most GR86 videos are all copying or repeating similar content. And, you sir, provided some solid info

    Had one for almost a year now. Your review is the most accurate I have watched. In particular, your points about the clutch, steering, and lights are exactly right. Great work. 👍

      Thanks, I'm really glad to hear that. Was lucky enough to have a few assignments on this car that took me across the country and put a lot of miles on it. Definitely one. I would love to own one day myself! Enjoy yours!

    I've been driving a van for more than a decade and I went to my Toyota dealer and got ... a BRZ, go figure. Anyway, I absolutely love the handling of the 86/BRZ. It makes every little turn in the road more fun.

    Good review ! Mainly focused on driving and not on cosmetics. Now if they'd only could hurry up production... Waiting delays are discouraging.

    I actually adjusted my clutch bite point after a year.it made it way easier to modulate . Some are set super high to bite. You have to be careful with this however, and be sure some free play remains.

      @@JustinPritchard I’m hoping it comes sooner than April, I really enjoyed test driving it. Does it have remote start in your country? I’m not sure if it has it in Australia

    • @JustinPritchard
      @JustinPritchard  Год назад

      @@robertobrien200 I know the manual unit I was driving definitely didn't have remote start and most cars with a manual transmission don't, might be available with an automatic.
      Not sure how many people would drive this in the winter although it would be a lot of fun :-)

    • @JustinPritchard
      @JustinPritchard  Год назад +1

      I don't know if it's an onboard Dyno as much as just a visual representation of where you are in the power curve, still a pretty cool touch that I enjoyed

    Honestly, as good as the new 86 is, i think id rather have the last gen. Im not a fan of the looks of the front and rear, I much prefer a physical tach and i despise push starts.

      @@jasonanderseon1127 depends on region & trim level. There are even 2018 86's without push start. But it's more common for 2012-16 models to not have push start.

    You can't even get a MT GR86 in US, most of them are AT or you will need to wait for a year or you will need to pay for USD9500 mark up, that totally stupid !
