S2!!!!! What a ROCK STAR you are..... I know this is 5 years old but so great to see - YOU- on the other side of the mic. I have no clue how I stumbled on this channel, but Chuck and Stacy seem like a blast too......Rock ON...Brother.
I do love this. Stew is a VO legend sort of, Actually he's the guy we have heard for decades on promos...the photo with the other VO folks I remember with DLF and Dave Fennoy and the rest of the greats. Seems such a nice fella..and I ride a cruiser too. So VO folks do ride motorcycles because if you know LA traffic...the only way to fly through these highways...Oh, yeah, that voice...we've all heard his work...Rocking it, Chuck and Stacy...Blessings always, from the guy in Compton who used to bug you too much, Chuck...so sorry...LOL Take care...enjoyed this.
Still loving the content, Chuck and Stacy... I now ride a Honda F6B myself. Stu had a nice one. My second was also a Honda Shadow Spirit, so I'm still out here working on my first real demo for reals....Compton has never heard my demos from my current website....but soon....hopefully some minds here still do not know what VO is and I'd like to form some sort of workout group in my community since Dre is from Compton and I have a few friends who know him personally. We will rock the world of VO once I teach them what I've learned from watching your content. Apologies for blowing up your email, Chuck. Got a bit overexcited and wasn't really committed to this wonderful world of VO and video games and narration, etc. I saw my first post, TMTL...sorry. This time, I'm very serious about going after my dream gig....promos in smaller markets maybe. Wish me success and again, very sorry for being such a newb....LOL Take care, both of you in God's Grace forever.
Stew Herrera is one of the coolest dudes you will ever meet and it was a complete please for Stacey and I to work with Stew and show you guys the process of recording a demo at Demos That Rock. Enjoy. :)
Love line ❤️"I love VO, it's so much fun"❤️ You guys are amazing and too funny... my preparation on going for my VO demo reel within a week. Hope, I'll do my best 😉 Lots of love ❤️
I love the way Stew used his hands to emulate the feel of the script. That somatic component is so underrated in VO performances. Dude is polished and iconic. Question for Chuck; Do you predetermine what music and effects you will use based on Stacy's script or do you leave room for that to flow with the read after recording the talent?
Hey John, glad you're enjoying our videos! The walls on our both are treated with OWENS CORNING 703 RIGID FIBERGLASS PANELS 1" THICK. Then we have some light carpeting for ascetics.
Hey, I've been told that your demo should never have any other voices. Does including snippets from shows not count? It's audio sweetening and all, but it's not all you, or is this sweetening just for working pros? Say you've actually voiced featured shows? etc Lots of questions :)
Great video! thanks for sharing. Got a question for Chuck: I have an e100s and I record voiceovers with a focusrite 2i2 scarlet interface. So, do you need to use preamps with this type of mic or just go straight into the USB interface? I'm thinking about buying either a DBX286s preamp to use with my focusrite or just upgrading my interface to an Audient id14 interface.
Thanks for the comment and i'm glad you're enjoying our videos. :) Any XLR mic including your CAD mic will sound better with a good pre-amp. The DBX286 would be a good choice and a nice step up from just using the 2i2. Hope that helps!
What I love about Chuck and Stacey is they are always positive and never dis anyone. Great source of info and encouragement for all!
Thank you Jack. Really appreciate the love brother!!
Videos like these get me super excited! I love seeing how professionals work behind the mic. Thanks for sharing this!!

The end of these RUclips videos are yummy...so inspirational...his voice is magical...one day...me too😊🤗

he lit that up, no joke, like one take, for all but one or two VO, dude, you are the man, wow!!!

What is that grey box you use to communicate with the guy in the booth called?
seen this video a few times and I just realized the water bottle strapped to the back of his bike when he pulls up.
truly is nice work if you can get it haha
Chuck and Stacey where are you? We miss you why no new content 😢❤️
You need to have such bubbly directors to bring out your A- game.
Thank you guys for these videos! I was curious, how is your vocal booth treated? It doesn't seem to have traditional acoustic foam, is it carpeted?
Hey John, glad you're enjoying our videos! The walls on our both are treated with OWENS CORNING 703 RIGID FIBERGLASS PANELS 1" THICK. Then we have some light carpeting for ascetics.
vobuzzweekly thanks! subscribed!
You rock John!!
People in LA are soooooo real and genuine.....right?😳
OMG...This is like voiceover sex! The foreplay, the interaction and then BAM, The Climax, with a Demo That Rocks!!!
Dan Romo lol awesome comment 👍

OCUBOX On a tv promo demo like this one part of the voice actors job is to set up the show element so it is necessary to show you can do that well.
@@vobuzzweekly Thanks, that makes sense!
How on earth do you monitor with speakers without bleed
A great booth 👍

It is my dream to be a voice over artist. I live in the UK and don't know how to start. Any advice?
Watch VO Buzz Weekly! :)
Oh my gawd Stew is so so hot!!!
Karly Rothenberg lol
Stacey is def attracted.
She looks like Monica!!
If I could get paid for every time I've procrastinated I wouldn't need a job.
So what's the answer? lol
I can do a better job
Lovely content! Keep it up!
Thanks!
