    My lavender was new last year. I didn't prune it in the fall. Now it is the following spring. The plant looks good, but I don't know when to prune since I did not last fall. We're in zone 8. What should I do?

    Acquired a lavender plant from my neighbor that moved. The buds are a very dim purple color and woody. Is the dim color signs of distress?
