Too many things can happen... as a father I'd always tell my daughter the truth about how all guys think and how to avoid 'situations'... so much can go wrong and just setting up a situation where a guy walks down the street with a briefcase of cash in each hand in a poor, violent environment... it's the lion and the steak dinner approach.

We can relate to taking away the car when they do something that warrants the punishment. HOWEVER, Melissa saying she didn’t want to take him, and “the nanny doesn’t work on sundays” is messed up. First of all if you have a full time nanny during the week, then on the weekends, you need to still be a parent and do things for your kids since your too busy being famous during the week and need a god darn NANNY! Sounds like over priveledge. As parent we do things for our kids even if we may not want to, but when you are absent all week…what the hell is a 20 minute drive??? I’ve seen this crap for years, as I worked in a high school. It’s really about the parent’s egos. They view their children as an extension of themselves, so it’s all about showing the world what they can afford. Damaging in so many ways.

Not sure why everyone is hating on Melissa for this. They’re parenting her. And regardless of what kind of car it is, the lesson is the same. And Antonia is just being a normal teenager. That’s how kids are. But y’all want to turn it into “rich spoiled kids and bad parenting”. Grow up.

Nvr once have I discussed food or vit with my four kids. I obsessed over nothing. There were no disagreements over sm stuff. Being manipulated was a game I wouldn’t play. I gave and got respect. If u don’t start getting respect, Monroe will start punishing u.

I bet Melissa's daughter gets right up next time they need a favor. That's the problem these days...I included. Kids think they are entitled and just don't have respect we did as kids. Kids are spoiled rotten these days... again I admit I'm guilty but it's not helping to make these kids respectful.

I wouldn't give my daughter a Porsche. And I absolutely wouldn't make her, at 16, to get up at 5 am, drive in snow, to take her brother snowboarding. That's my job. Kids are a product of their environment. If they feel entitled, it's because they're raised way. This falls on Jolissa. Bad parenting.

The problem with a lot of parents these days is that they want to be their child's friend first. Discipline starts when they're a toddler. Teaching them right from wrong and most of all respecting their adults no matter how they feel. These kids nowadays are so entitled but I blame the parents.
