Left Field the area near the foul line maybe where the Bullpen area is the picture isn't really clear of that whole outfield area they maybe be different in future updates.. The Field looks ok they need to touch up the seating areas in left the other thing the scoreboard looks like it will be setting on the fans i wonder if people want to sit that close to it .That's the other thing if the stadium is ever built at this point how close to the renderings will it be i wait to see it built before say it is good or bad . I know some teams renderings hit out of the park but they still have to build them and sometimes stuff never makes it in to the new Arena or Stadium.
Unreal and here is why. 1. Plenty of natural light. 2. They utilize the roof for imaging. 3.Standing room: Plenty is needed bc it is Vegas. 4. They break up the roof system to make it attractive. Also, I like no LF seating. I think the newer minor league stadiums feel less commercial. That will be the trend. Just consider that perspective.
Is it just me or does the rendering of the interior view make it look like there are exterior bleacher seats way out past right field? Like *way* out. It looks like some of those seats wouldn't even be able to even see inside the stadium. Are those seats or is that just a further away building I'm misinterpreting as exterior right field bleacher seats? What is that?
Seriously doubt they have the budget for this. Vegas only spent $1 Billion on Raiders stadium while something like Los Angeles’ SoFi stadium cost $6 Billion
Looks like the kind of Stadium you would see in a Sci-Fi movie. In a way it reminds me of what it must have been like when the Astrodome was first conceived. All of the angle of that video screen on the roof is just.... bizarre. I suspect left field will have something and they are just working on agreements for it now.
I do really like the exterior. Total Dubai meets Sydney Opera House. But the interior needs some serious work. That curved scoreboard blows. Convenient they left out the new Bally's high rises that will dominate left and right field views.
The exterior I like and you made some great points, especially with the no left-field seats. However, the white ceiling would make it extremely difficult for the fielders to see any fly balls. Also, 33K-34K seating capacity for a 1+ billion stadium? That sounds like it is way too few seats for the price.
I think its alright looking i dont like how its angled and i think it should be facing towards the strip because i feel like the way there showing it doesn’t really make you feel like that your in Vegas i guess that could be the whole point but i feel like the view would look better that way but thats just me…
I like it. For Vegas. You gotta have something unique. I’m sure they will tweak things a bit to make it a better baseball field. But I would go. Why don’t they change the name of the team?
I don’t think it’s the final product but they may adjust and make final renderings in June with realistic size and no mistakes like the no seats in left field. Vegas is likely happening. I honestly think the A’s will get outside foreign investment to get this done (like the Saudis, who may one day try to buy them). If this is the case, John is a con who can’t do things on his own, but credit to him for getting people who can help him to get this done.
The stadium is white because it's Vegas. It gets hot. Dark colors absorb heat. White will keep cooling costs down. They don't need left field seats because those seats typically suck anyway and many of the fans will be out of town visitors and won't care about watching the game. They'll be socializing and looking up once in awhile. And finally, the stadium will only be half full or less most of the time.
Reminder, this is supposed to sit on 9 acres, on the south east corner of the lot. The will be a new resort tower built in front of that glass blocking any views. Overall it's a very small stadium, might be MLB's smallest
I like the first one myself it's very space age kind of like you would see from the cartoon the Jetsons. Now all u need is the flying space cars 🚗 and George Jetson and Mr. Spacely at the game 😊
I wonder when they get to Vegas, could the A's go back to the Philadelphia A's colors. I liked the green and gold for Oakland, but I would like a change, perhaps the blue and gray from 1901 to 1954 in Philadelphia. This A's franchise changes states a lot, as they then moved to Kansas City then to Oakland.
Dude the giant green part looks like a pennant as do the other slices. Also I would guess the bullpens are in the left field area you criticized so heavily for being absent of seats!
Left field reminds me of the Nimitz Freeway viaduct sadly. Feels like a definite middle finger to Oakland there. These seem like very preliminary renderings. No bullpens, off-centered batter's eye. Holy Toledo indeed.
I live here. The view from outfield confuses me. They're only talking about knocking down the Tropicana Casino. The people walking up the other view would be where Hooters Casino is. They have to take down 3 square blocks which includes 2 more motels there also (they wont be missed. Neither would Hooters Casino tbh 😂) But that intersection doesnt seem to meet the size of that stadium. Money talks though and a lot of people gotta go to make room 💯🫡
What will the purpose of the giant window be when Bally's rebuilds the Tropicana and the window is looking at a giant hotel tower(s). I don't foresee Bally's going with a hotel with less rooms than the Tropicana has currently and being so close to the airport there is no way the FAA would let them build much higher.
The Trop has always said they plan on an integrated design so they aren't just randomly sticking a hotel in the way. And as for the FAA you have far too much in that agency. They are corrupt as hell and will green light anything provided the right palms are greased. All of that said, this is almost certainly a bullshit rendering, because Fisher only has 9 acres.
The hotel, if there is any, will not be in front of that window. The hotel will be supposedly behind it not on the corner of Tropicana and Las Vegas Blvd.
I’ll believe it when I see a shovel in the ground. Nice picture though
tbh ill go as far as i’ll believe it when the first pitch is thrown

Unless that is supposed to be the OBP of their hitters. Looks amazing
Tropicana is not going to have given the A’s the land for free, just to give free advertising to the MGM casino. The view is going to be mostly consumed by the view of the new hotel, up close and pretty 🤣🤣🤣🤣Uses a lot of the design language of Sofi Stadium. This would be a gorgeous ballpark. Would absolutely travel to see a game there. This looks like something that we might have all glossed over when watching Back to the Future II when Marty goes into the future. I think I like it. Such a unique design, and I think that the mix of scoreboard and roof is really unique. Wonder if it’ll be a giant LED screen. I actually really like the overall design and love the outside of it. My biggest issue is the same... that left-to-center field wall. I agree that there needs to be stands of some sort in Left field, but I think my bigger issue is the transparent outfield wall? I can't imagine that would be fun for an outfielder trying to gauge where a glass wall is when trying to play one off the wall. I'm not even opposed to the concrete structures, but that needs to be a backdrop with the lower level having stood in front of it. Also, the right field could have a shorter wall height unless it has to be closer to where it needs to be taller to prevent a hitter's paradise in the right. Saw this on Jomboy and went straight to the channel This is gonna be lit af
As a Vegas resident, as nice as it is, I don’t know how they’re gonna make this work on the Tropicana Hotel site. The big issue with the site is its proximity to McCarren International Airport, and getting approval from the FAA… I have no idea how this gets approved because of that. That’s New York New York, not downtown lol not here okay Ask for NHL or NBA.
IMO, the Scoreboard will be a projection. And they will use software of the video image to get rid of the angle and keystone effect.
its all LED, like the Sphere.
I truly look forward to watching many many games there ~ Las Vegas A’s ⚾️⚾️⚾️
It looks alright from the outside. The inside needs some work, but i wanna know how you can fit this on 9 acres
It reminds me of the Sydney opera house
Did the builders of that get involved in this one? LOL
Wow. That really looks like frei Otto Munich Olympic stadium type look very well. So I was right about that. That is so cool.
Is this like a concept car? Something that is meant to draw a lot of attention, but that will never actually be built?
That was their first renderings. Idk what the hell this is. Not 9 acres and no planned hotels
Where is that bridge and water? Is that a rendering from Howard Terminal?
Left Field the area near the foul line maybe where the Bullpen area is the picture isn't really clear of that whole outfield area they maybe be different in future updates.. The Field looks ok they need to touch up the seating areas in left the other thing the scoreboard looks like it will be setting on the fans i wonder if people want to sit that close to it .That's the other thing if the stadium is ever built at this point how close to the renderings will it be i wait to see it built before say it is good or bad . I know some teams renderings hit out of the park but they still have to build them and sometimes stuff never makes it in to the new Arena or Stadium.
So are we having a Fremont Street type roof on the south side of town now too?
Looks great!!
I think I like it. Such a unique design, and I think that mix of scoreboard and roof is really unique. Wonder if it’ll be a giant LED screen.
I agree I love the outside, inside needs a little more
There's just not going to be much room out in LF/CF for seats. The Tropicana Ave/LV Blvd intersection is practically right behind the fence
Years ago, just go to “ The Vet “ In Philly just to see a game
Not the stadium 🏟️, but a game, beer 🍺, cheese 🧀 steak
Seems like a waste of money 😂
Nailed it. Waste of money, Tix will be expensive.
Seriously doubt they have the budget for this. Vegas only spent $1 Billion on Raiders stadium while something like Los Angeles’ SoFi stadium cost $6 Billion
What the hell is this? 😅 The first one looks like one of those create your own stadium on MLB the show and they went nuts with it.
🤣
Looks like the kind of Stadium you would see in a Sci-Fi movie. In a way it reminds me of what it must have been like when the Astrodome was first conceived. All of the angle of that video screen on the roof is just.... bizarre. I suspect left field will have something and they are just working on agreements for it now.
Where is the new casino/resort?
Good question
There isn’t
I do really like the exterior. Total Dubai meets Sydney Opera House. But the interior needs some serious work. That curved scoreboard blows. Convenient they left out the new Bally's high rises that will dominate left and right field views.
Very impressive!
The exterior I like and you made some great points, especially with the no left-field seats. However, the white ceiling would make it extremely difficult for the fielders to see any fly balls. Also, 33K-34K seating capacity for a 1+ billion stadium? That sounds like it is way too few seats for the price.
7:17 That might be a projector screen, which if it can be done is a very economical way to make a large video board
It looks cool, but very unbelievable and slapped together. Nice that you can watch the game outside without paying, lol.
Looks pretty cool. Super unique and bet it looks awesome when it's completed as opposed to these renders
I think its alright looking i dont like how its angled and i think it should be facing towards the strip because i feel like the way there showing it doesn’t really make you feel like that your in Vegas i guess that could be the whole point but i feel like the view would look better that way but thats just me…
It's Vegas, you knew they were going to go all out
NICE, only thing I would change is ad more seating
I like it. For Vegas. You gotta have something unique. I’m sure they will tweak things a bit to make it a better baseball field. But I would go.
Why don’t they change the name of the team?
Similar situation to the Ybor City Stadium design and another Glass Dome
I don’t think it’s the final product but they may adjust and make final renderings in June with realistic size and no mistakes like the no seats in left field. Vegas is likely happening.
I honestly think the A’s will get outside foreign investment to get this done (like the Saudis, who may one day try to buy them). If this is the case, John is a con who can’t do things on his own, but credit to him for getting people who can help him to get this done.
Broken Egg and the Green Vegas monster! They need to make it 100k for other major events!
If the A’s were smart they should of try to move to Sacramento they would still have the east bay and would have the Stockton area and even Reno NV
thats crazy!
It's a ballpark, a new work of art.
Isn’t left field supposed to be a walk-in casino? Isn’t that why there’s no seating?
Dude the giant green part looks like a pennant as do the other slices. Also I would guess the bullpens are in the left field area you criticized so heavily for being absent of seats!
Left field reminds me of the Nimitz Freeway viaduct sadly. Feels like a definite middle finger to Oakland there.
These seem like very preliminary renderings. No bullpens, off-centered batter's eye. Holy Toledo indeed.
What’s the average capacity for a MLB stadium? Wonder why they decided to go on the lower side since it is Vegas
37,000 around there. But Vegas isn’t a big city so the 3,3000 is a good size for Vegas
Looks phenomenal would be shocked if they don't stick to this rendering
Wouldn't that color changing part on roof be considered a distraction for hitters???
