If you tryna make some good money I would say get into car hauling as a OO. My dad does it & bring home 20-30k a month making well over 100k a year. He’s here in Baltimore & he’s willing to train.

Dre I have two questions for you. Before you stopped working for Republic Services, did they allow people to come visit the yard to see the trucks? Or do you not know, because I understand if you don’t. And my second question is what types of trucks have you driven like Side load, Rear load Allied Waste and BFI trucks, and if you have then what we’re your favorite trucks?

Hi, I like your videos. I have one year experience hauling for Amazon, now I’m working intermodal with JB Hunt, but I’ve been thinking trying Amazon partners, but the only cons I see is working on weekends.
Definitely gotta work weekends but other than that it’s easy money

What’s up dre, I’ve been with AFP for 3 months now and you were right, the way they make the schedule is childish. I would work 3 days a week, have 2-3 days off or I would work 2-3 days a week, have 1 day off and work the next day. It’s stupid, I’m planning to stick around for a year and find a better local job that I can work Monday-Friday and have weekends off. Night shifts are killing my sleep 😐
Yeah the schedule sucks but the work is easy, definitely try to stick it out for a year. But I love working over night man it’s just you and the open road for the most part. Once that morning rush hour hits that’s when everyone starts driving crazy.

Back at Republic Services! What truck repair shops did you guys go to when the mechanic at the location couldn't do it?
Yo been watching for a while and i actually did flatbed for awhile but now im getting into amazon AFP, if you're really thinking about flatbeding. Be ready for rainy/snowing/windy tarping days. Longggg days in the rain. When that tarp falls from the wind, shitttt u gotta fold that whole bitch up and place it back ontop of the load. About 130-150 poundish depending on the tarp. But some days will be short if the load is easy. I'd say be a tanker if anything lol. Night runs, less traffic and i heard its pretty easy
You don’t want to keep bouncing from job to job either bro. You have to settle somewhere until you get your own truck.

Only way you can make good money being O/O the way the trucking industry is now is either you have a dedicated account you running or like you said specialize hauling
Probably not owner operators gotta pay their own insurance, vehicle maintenance, fuel.. stuff adds up.

Everyday is different but it’s usually in the range of 200-400

they emailed me back and said i wasn’t qualified but i been had my class A and otr experience so i’m confused
