Brrgval was our best player which is good but somewhat worrying that an 18 year old is our best player. Bergval through his assured passing had a positive effect on other players,who seemed to gain confidence from bergval.
Why is it worrying it's a positive buddy now the established players can pull their finger out
its not worrying, bergvall wasnt our "best" player, he was just the most fun to watch because of his amazing movement on and off the ball, he reminds me of moussa on the ball, anyway, there was a few youngsters who were more impactful than him , he was stupendous though, definetly gonna be one to watch this season.
@@jrjhn3895 Keep in mind while i agree that he looked good, he did not have to face 1st half bayern. 2nd half bayern was a disaster, Laimer making 5 missed passes in a row, Goretzka absolutely bad at pressing, Ulreich not being able to make a single ball go to bayern player, zaragoza playing like a kid. Anyone playing in 2nd half automatically gets a higher score hence.
@@mikeserds2333It’s always a bit easier to play the second half in a friendly, the tempo goes down automatically. Therefore I’d like us to ease Bergvall into the premier league, perhaps start him occasionally against the lower teams and used as a sub vs the top half teams. It’ll do wonders for him imo.

Ngl Maddison is hands down the most irritating player. Every fking time all he wants to do is to draw a foul and slow the game down. Bergval came in and theres so much fluidity

Finally someone said it, he’s been shit for months now, he has to be dropped for me give him a reality check and hopefully a kick up his arse to start performing again.
Calm tf down even after injuries he was playing in pain. Maddison at his best is a top player, all we need is cover for him until he gets back to his best.

Maddison sure likes to roll around in the grass. Very frustrating when he does those obvious dives and the ref isn’t fooled, takes ages for him to get up. It hurts our game, just get up man.
Maddison has been a big disappointment so far this pre season, carrying on from his disappointing finish the last season. Hopefully the competition with Bergvall might give him a lift.

Johnson hardly got a touch.
Bergvall had a couple of bad touches and missed passes but he was also so strong, progressive, and smooth. His physicality isn't talked about enough. Could have scored two goals. He is looking like he is going to be a tremendous player.
Yeah I noticed hes very physical. Could play ANY position in midfield imo.
@@Karizma231 I agree. I could see him as a Rodri type that pops up with 8 or so goals. But I think he will probably be an 8 or 10.

Bergvall was class yet again, surely has to start ahead of maddison in number 10 role
Sonny had some great defensive efforts, plus one where he caused a turnover and passed the ball in the path of Sarr for a 1 on 1 with the goalkeeper which should have tied the game.
Johnson and Maddison deserved a 0.
For me Brennan Johnson is not good enough to start in our squad we need better hopefully Neto comes in🤞🏻
I'm so thankful more people are realizing this. Both Brennan and Werner are bang average.
Personally I'd want Bakayoko. He plays similar to Neto but not injury prone. And a physical beast.

It doesn’t always have to be unbelievable or terrible. Moderate the language and moderate the disappointment and anger all the time!
Crazy how Maddison had such a great start and as is now if he stays like this we will probably sell him at the end of the season. He wont get in our first team and he won't sit on the bench.
The ligament injury to his ankle really effected him. He was in the best form of his career before

@@zzz-fm9nw go watch the replay... Bissouma gave the ball away so many times! And on many occasions his errant passes or heavy touches led to Bayern counter-attacks. Bergvall stole the show, let's face it!

How can Maddison even complain once he wasn't in the england squad
Our whole play was a sloppy mess tbh, our team has clear weaknesses since last season, our ball playing is not fluid at all, our pressing is leaky, and we just desperately fear of shooting from sight. That's what I've noticed. It's a shame, because we have players with fantastic shooting technique, Maddison, Son, Porro, even Kulusevski can shoot really well from the sight but it almost feels like Ange has told them specifically to walk the ball in to the net every time even if it clearly doesn't work. We had like 1 time when a player shot the ball from a distance and Porro scored a beautiful goal from it. This is a tendency, even in bad 0-0 situations where we're being completely clueless how to break the opponents down we just trying to walk the ball in.
I don't think it would be Ange's instruction, just because it was almost a signature of Postecoglou teams of past
Pretty tough on porro.
His goal was tremendous but overall I think he does struggle defensively at that position. That's why I'd like to see Spence at right back and porro at right wing at least as a trial. May not be the play for every game, but at least let's give it a go once
It is not easy to be Tottenham fans in international stage because the fans and the board lack football knowledge. Always in endless rebuilding process. To be honest we stuck with Ange to extend our trophy drought.
It is hard to conceive that we don’t have a winger who can take on a player a part from son who by the way is not sharp because of the age. Nothing in short term is looking good.

We should play Porro in midfield. He does his best work further up the pitch
Both Vicario and Spence were at fault for the first goal. Spence called for the ball but wasn't aware of his surroundings, while Vicario's pass to Spence was poor. Although Vicario made the right decision to pass, as you should always trust your teammates, the combination of a bad pass and lack of awareness led to the first goal.
It's a new team so the communication will improve over time.
I will say this on the Maddison left foot comment. Shooting with your weak foot and making pinpoint long passes with your weak foot are very different things
Spurs are extremely lucky to have discovered a new Harry Cane and so fast. the problem is Anje has not realised it as yet. The way the team is at present we don't need more players. 6 5 Mil for Solanke is ridiculous waste of money. We already have Richarlison - Maddison- Kulusevski +++ who are much better

Porro was our best player by a country mile that game, which was no where near what need to dominate in the PL for a top 4 place. Harsh on Biss. Bergvall was impressive. Gray Harsh ,was effectively man marked by two players as the No6 and did show Muller a clean pair of heels ,made me smile but a 4 ? Some tough love. Overall about right , just a little bit of a sterner test than a still very young side, including Sarr able to cope with. Pro fouling specialists did its job , while referee let it go and they had the press and energy in the first that the second half did not show the same intensity. So my critics are mainly did not make better chances and get level when had the opportunity, Lankshear was served by passes not good enough, and Bergvall among the guilty of not scoring his best chance.
Bergvall was the best on the pitch 2nd half, dominant! Spence deserved no less than 7/10. And I agree: Archie Gray was not at fault & I wish I could say the same thing, about Ives Bissouma! He was careless on the ball TOO MANY TIMES!!! Maddison looks completely off his game.
@@charles_preston Disagree over Yves Bissouma , Spence was out of position ,not providing goal chances ,but nothing more than competent , like Davis , the steady eddie pro ,not going to do more than be Mr.Average in that position. The whole 1st half showed how unprepared the side was to take on Bayern ,that goes on the coach . As a friendly game ,which the German side took a lot more seriously in their approach and very aggressive tackling. It was a stern test, that will help more than hinder the preparations for the real deal and start of season selection. It does show the deficiencies in the side, which without the promised rebuild players, still yet to materialize ,another wasted window so far. Remember the people Ange is relying upon player that are for the most part still not themselves much older than the academy,asking players like Udgoie and VDV to play all season games, with only Davis as backup is another recipe for failure. So shout that at ENIC , rather than players still short of being a consistent side of winners? IMO
Disagree with Bergvall's rating. He gave the ball away several times, miscontrolled it several times and was fairly anonymous for large parts of his participation.
Lucas will be Bellingham level. So impressed.
Son was average. Took too long to shoot.

Guys, Porro is losing the ball several times in dangerous positions. He is NOT safe and covers so and so sometimes. Spence is more powerful and faster when it comes to covering defensively.
Porro HAS a nice right foot, and that is important, he play-makes and can sometimes score with his long-range shots, BUT, he is by no means complete imho at r b. Spence overall has been better for example.
