Hi Janice, Thanks for watching the video. Throwing the foot on a molded pot is a great idea! See my blog post for some pics of some cups/teabowls I made with this technique. Done the same way except I used a smaller coil and attached the upside down pots to the wheel head w. pieces of clay instead of using the foam batt. Or you could put them on a chuck and throw the foot on if you wish. Good luck. Happy potting~Ron
Thanks for sharing! I have added a foot to a low profile bowl made in a "tag sale wooden salad bowl) mold... I will be making the foot larger now! Also, what if this added foot was put on a tea bowl? or Rice bowl? If you try it before I do... please video your results. Thanks again! Janice
