- Recently we took a book road trip to a giant book outlet sale... what an adventure! The sale was in a huge warehouse (think Costco or Sams), and we have never been to anything like it (and we've been to a book sale or two in our time). We were happily surprised to find a few Catholic books, and, as we quickly discovered, there was a whole lot more on offer than just books. Come shop the adventure with us!

There are two book warehouses I am aware of in the Southeast US. One is located in Easley, SC, which is gigantic and a smaller book warehouse in Mt. Crawford, VA. The one in Mt. Crawford is called Green Valley Book Fair. They have books, puzzles, decor, craft and activity kits, and a large selection of Bibles and Christian u You need to go to their websites because they're only open certain weekends. Green Valley Book Fair has handheld baskets to put your books in, and they will allow you more. There are also drink and snack machines with a couple of fast food restaurants nearby. The warehouse in SC does not have any carts or baskets, so you will need to bring your own. They did not have any avaible drink or snack macines the last time I was there a few months ago. We take dollys and reusuable shopping bags with us when we go. We also use these warehouses as potential books to look for in our public library and in the Little Free Libraries in our area.
When you're at the Mt. Crawford location and you swing over to Waynesboro, check out a large grocery outlet called Sharp Shopper that has groceries at massive cuts. There is also another Sharp Shopper located in Winchester, VA. We take coolers with us to hold our perishables, and invetibly, our trunk spills out into the backseat and floorboards to accommodate all of the books and food. 😂

I'm going to get the St Francis book for my grandbabies. St Francis was my son's (their dad) Confirmation saint. I don't think I've given the kids anything about St Francis yet.
Kind of regretting not buying that one now... maybe it will be there next time? That was the cool thing about the sale- we saw so many neat books we had never seen before!
Good idea- but warning! Buying St. Francis books quickly becomes addictive, lol
It looked amazing but a tad bit overwhelming!!! Love the haul! I don't think I ever hear of book sales near me. Maybe I don't have my radar...
It was great, but it was a bit crazy! Definitely an experience... we found it through a "what's happening this weekend" post we saw on line. Lol- book sales do seem to find us.... is that good or bad? Or maybe just dangerous...

OH MY😯 would have loved to go to a book sale like that one❤️. Loved the glimpse of the children’s books and puzzles. Always love giving my nieces and nephews books for Christmas.
And the cookbooks😘 I love reading cookbooks. I read cookbooks like other people read novels❤️

Love going on trips along with you. Sounds like a book lovers dream store. I have been collecting cookbooks for years, but just read them like novels instead of cooking from them. Have way too many.
