right,? the box is too big. but at least it protected the piece and it arrived in perfect condition. I'm more worried about storing boxes than I am about running out of space to display my statues. lol the box struggle is real. thanks for checking out the video.

I m not usuaIIy a DiabIo player (I mostly played Starcraft, Hearthstone (the cards game) and Heroes of the Storm that has DiabIo characters.. my favorite being Li Ming).. but that awesome trailer (for DiabIo 4) convinced me to try the next DiabIo game.

I got this one, it is definitely an intimidating statue. The only reason why I can think that Blizzard statues are cheaper than the other companies is because they are also a gaming company and make tons of money from those and their statues are just a bonus that they do and don't have to charge a whole lot since they make so much from their games.

@@STATUEFANATIC Though it does seem now they are really beefing up the prices of their statues. They just released a Thrall premium statue and it's $599. I'll definitely be waiting for a discount code on that one.

Long time Diablo fan here. Lilith is Mephisto's Daughter, and Diablo's niece. Lilith fell in love with an archangel, Inarius, and they fled the war between demons and angels called The Eternal Conflict. Their union created the nephalem. Which makes Lilith the great mother of all nephalems, who became humans. The hero you play as in the Diablo games are humans, but also nephalems (the blood of the nephalem is stronger in some humans than others). Nephalems are part angel, part demon, but stronger than both. I am confused however as to why Lilith might want to resurrect Diablo. I guess they will explain that in Diablo 4.
Lilith is holding Diablo's skull, because she is probably going to resurrect him with the soulstone. A Prime Evil such as Diablo cannot really die. They are immortal demons. His soul was captured and locked away in a soulstone. If you look at your Diablo bust (which I just ordered thanks to your review), he has a different coloured red spike in his forehead. That is the soulstone. If I were to guess, Lilith probably needs Diablo's help to resurrect her father, Mephisto. This is an educated guess, because Diablo has to be in every Diablo game. He keeps getting resurrected.
That's the gist of it, though there is so much more depth to the Diablo lore.

Ive been watching blizzard like a hawk since this statue came out and there havent been any sales that ive seen on it, its been exempt from every sale. It has sold out twice, and they did a few re-releases. I dont think this will get a sale, plus the Blizz store keeps doing 65, 50% off its wares, as many ppl are saying seems like its about to go out of business soon just like its European store in 2017

No I did not pick that up, that came out of no where . I really like it but in just a year they too keep increasing the price with every release, and that’s unfortunate, especially since they don’t have edition sizes on them except the variant thrall
I think a big reason for quality and price discrepancy on this piece and other pieces from other companies is likely that Blizzard owns the rights to their characters and the artists that works on the 3d models that get printed are very often inhouse employees for their videogame teams that are already on salaried roles already. Any other company other than Sideshow selling statues in this price range at this scale shouldn't even be mentioned from what I've seen. Even with all that being said this piece puts many sideshow statues in the same price range to shame.

how does it compare to the Sideshow statues? i wasn’t a fan on the Blizzard statues for Mercy/ Sylvanus.
I like this better thanks some of my court of the dead statutes from sideshow, this is a very premium piece

I really have no Idea. I think it is still available for sale at blizzard. It has even been on sale for Half off. I was able to get it for a huge discount during one of their sales.
