I use a recorder (instrument) cleaner plunger and wickes wet wipes for my main filter works brilliantly. I keep my tips and heads in a converted brush mate the heads clean up with a tooth brush 👌🏻
I've been doing a quick flush wrong the whole time. It seems I've been doing a deep flush the whole time. 👍🏼 definetly pass some water through both prime and gun when finished painting. Then I take out the filters and pass anti freeze for long storage.
Silicon based auto antifreeze will do the same job as Pump Armor! A simple look at the ingredients will confirm this. Pump Armor £20 per 1L / Auto Antifreeze £18 per 5L. Just make sure it’s silicon/glycerol based.
Hi, If you are talking about lubricating the piston, grease is not recommended as it will mix with the system. Always use airless oil at this point. Kind regards, Airless Discounter team
Hi, using solvent-based primer with a 290pc graco, is cleaning with nitro-type diluent sufficient for cleaning or is it recommended to wash with water before storing the pump?
Good tutorial but I really think they should come up with something that requires less cleaning or a much easier way to clean because most of us are actually doing it all wrong.
Hi, It is not. This is why the airless suppliers are taking the time to sell them. Don't forget that if your pump is under warranty and you have a problem with it, the warranty won't apply then, if there is a miss use of the pump or protection. Other products than the ones specified for airless pumps are easily detectable during check repairs. Kind regards, Airless Discounter team
@@AirlessDiscounterInternational Thanks for conformation. I get my information from Paint Life TV on RUclips. He said He used pump armour for years for all of the above reasons but switched to engine coolant with no side effects and never looked back. I take your word. Im running a £175 1800w Vevor pump so not concerned about warranty if it does my house renovation it would have paid for itself. If I buy a top spec machine in the future ill consider it.
Great video, thanks.
Very very nice explained & very good information. Thank you so much.
Thank you for your support.

We usually clean the filters last when they’re 95% clean.

Hi,
Please wash again the pump after with water to take the "nitro" out of the pump and protect the seals.
