Fact: Actually, lightning can, and often does, strike the same place repeatedly especially if it's a tall and isolated object. For example, the Empire State Building is hit about 25 times per year.

Me during the begining: "Im getting hit alot, but I am managing to not die, and find opportunities to dodge and attack.
Me during the middle: "I can win this."
Me when the vision hunt decree got applied to my charecters: "Aw crap! I still think I could win this though."

Isn't it kinda ironic that she is described as this cold almost emotionless archon yet her theme has such a kick with so much going on?

Such is the oxymoron of thunder, striking all so precisely and calulated but wrathful and unbound in nature
The track isn't that emotional, but rather it shows how powerful she is (in my opinion). But there still is a shit ton going on xD
@@inggironingboardp1429 oh i get that, I just find the song (especially with the heartbeat in the background) more as a reflection of what is currently going inside her head. Cold and emotionless on the exterior, with absolute chaos and rage like thunder on the interior.

When the health bar showed up it was a fight or flight trigger kinda and I became super focused on her attacks and my heart was racing so not just you
Nope just hiding behind Diona shield until the second phase. Then all hell broke loose.
I guess you never played anything like Dark Souls, Prince of Persia or Elder Scrolls or DMC or even new titles like Sekihiro, i might be wrong.
Dude, I fought Raiden twice and she's still as terrifying as the first time. QwQ I was like, "Mom, come pick me up. I'm so scared." XD
How did you fought twice? Does she remains as a boss or you had another account?
@@ArtificialHuman1 The first time I fought her, all of my units died. So when I fought her the second time, I have Eula in my party. Together with Zhongli, I managed to get her HP to 1/3 before the cutscene. And it was still scary. XD

I don’t know what traditional Japanese instrument is being used, definitely sounds like some kind of string instrument. I want to say it’s the shamisen but a part of me is reluctant to say so, but nevertheless the important part is that it sounds very Inazuma. The thing that most people would notice about this track upon hearing it in game is the synthwave sort of texture and electronic feel of the track, which has a… I wouldn’t say ominous, but more so an imposing and “electrifying” presence that commands and instills a kind of fear in the player that isn’t intense by any means, but more so, like I said, imposing. If that wasn’t genius enough, aside from a few short bursts where it stops, the entire track is underlined with the mellow methodical *ba-dump* of a heartbeat. I’ve seen one other person assume that that was the heartbeat of the Traveller because of the dire situation they were in, but I disagree since it sounds too calm and collected to be the Traveller’s heartbeat. And, considering this is (what I assume to be) the first part of the Raiden Shogun’s battle theme, I am inclined to believe that we are hearing her heart. After all, we are fighting her in a space that she created with her sword which she pulled out from her chest, or her heart. On top of referencing how the Traveller got into the situation to begin with, the heartbeat also exemplifies Ba’al’s calm demeanor, or rather, her emotionless command over the situation. And if this track wasn’t amazing enough, Yu-Peng Chen adds in a crunchy electric guitar to further exemplify not only the Raiden Shogun’s thunderous presence, but also the situation becoming more and more dire. (The heartbeat also acts as a really good source of percussion for the song.)
And as if my day couldn’t get any more better from playing Genshin, Vetrom goes on and uploads his rendition of this track for our listening enjoyment. God I love this game, and this channel!

I used a Koto for the left side and a Shamisen for the right side, what it sounds like an "electric guitar" is the same Koto with distortion added, and thank you so much!

This theme perfectly encapsulates the feeling of having your ambitions/powers stripped away from you in the heat of battle, with only instinct and innate strength left as your weapons at a desperate moment
I made sure to avoid spoilers for this update. So glad I did, because I was not expecting an actual fight. This was probably the most terrifying boss in Genshin, especially when she knocks out all of your abilities. I couldn't just shield everything with Zhongli anymore.
Also very satisfying if you time your infusion ability right, just before she locks your skill and burst, press E and it will be still there

Most of the game missions are boring and halftime click skipping, but the moment when the world turned black and swallowed up into Ei dimension, Oh I lost my breath, i was like what the hell is going on
honestly this theme was not what I expected, I honestly thought it would be like the music in the part of the trailer that she appears in, but this is a great job none the less

The concept of eternity especially in the nation Inazuma is really ironic. Her ideals are completely opposed to the rest of the nation. Mihoyo did a good job contradicting Baal.
Some of them anyway. But there are those who do agree with her ideal of eternity so it's more like split differences in opinions.
I haven't heard the theme song because I was so scared when I fought her.

the only bad part about baal's fight is that I can't do the fight again.

Her animations should still be very similar to her playable versions'. Just larger.
We'll see if any "No-hit Baal" runs appear on youtube in the future.
I think you just have to take a quarter of her health after that she will inflict the vision hunt decree and you can just dodge after that and wait until divine punishment shall be administered.
Just practice dodging her attacks, once you do it it's just a matter of time.
I had my struggles with her, but it was certainly a nice fight

Really like this remix, however do miss the high electric guitar (I think) notes which go up, repeat the top note (B) when the three F are played and kinda harmonises then go back down. That usually happen at times like 1:00
