Because of you I just ordered another pair of crochet hooks, the beautiful bright colored handles with spots, from we crochet, I believe.

Agreed. I just sold my Speedy 35 luxrul (I did keep the brown one), my Sofia Coppola perforated LV clutch, my blue Damier clutch I bought in Japan, and the By the Pool vanilla clutch. Kept an orange epi Alma. It feels great!!!

When you said straighter (straight) edges make my heart happy I thought wow she thinks like me. I like my crochet projects even and straight. I'm doing this in a earthy color then I will buy a brown strap. Thank you for sharing video with us.

The bag looks so cute but it takes soooo much yarn so i just frogged it out while i was halfway (this was painful lol 😂) but i did the same pattern with straight dc's and it worked perfectly fine , but thanks for the tutorial anyways❤

I just finished my bag. Going to use brown leather straps. The dimensions worked out perfectly so that is good. However, I didn’t know the bag would be so big. Made it to sell market so sizes really don’t matter too much. Either way, thank you for sharing this pattern with us. I do think it will be an eyecatcher and will bring people over to my table.

Very pretty, I just finished your bag using the Suzette stitch from the June CAL in a cream! Very pretty, but I was a little shy on my length and now my center triangle is a little off, mad at myself for not being more precise. I would usually rip it out but … idk I don’t want to. But I will try it again in a stripe pattern and this time be more precise or maybe I will just move into this bag 😊

Have you tried blocking the rectangle? That might help get it to the right dimensions before seaming.

LOVELY BAG! So I started it after the first 4 rows I frogged it because it wasn't 30 inches. It was 28. I went to a size larger hook to a 5.00 but it gave it to much stretch, I frogged again. So back at the 4.00 hook the chain measures 26 inches. I am not a tight Crocheter how would I address this please? Can I just make it longer to measure 30 inches? Thank you!!

What you can do is focus on the ratio of your rectangle fabric. As long as you have a 3:1 ration in width to height, it will work!
