I like to describe myself as an adventure gardener.As an educator there is so much value in trying to learn your own techniques and gardening style by learning through your mistakes. Thank you for watching my video. In the winter I bring them inside of the house and keep them inside of a grow tent.

Hi! New subscriber here! I just bought a dwarf patio peach tree and want to put it in a pot this year. I know you mentioned you used native soil on your regular sized tree but do you use any special soil for your trees?

Welcome!! For my dwarf peach trees I just use a high quality potting mix. I add extra sand or vermiculite to the soil because they need good drainage. In the spring I top with compost and in the fall I top the soil with crushed leaves. I fertilize monthly and water weekly (in summer) with fish emulsion.
