Been wanting to do this for my Accord for a long time...this project made it seem easy and made me purchase the products for both my sides and front.

I mean they might as well make a vinyl kit for those glossy trim parts of the doors too, you cant even breathe on those things without them getting scratches or fingerprints, they drive me nuts!! I buffed out mine with a polisher, but i think a vinyl wrap is a must!

Just ordered the window trim, B/C pillar, and front grill chrome deletes from Crux, all in satin. Can't wait to get them in and see how the satin looks.

Just did my 19 2.0t touring, looks pretty good, not real hard but I found taking the mirrors off made for a cleaner install, mine was hard to tuck there and wanted to bunch up really bad
It’s like u didn’t have a garage to apply the vinyl you’re struggling with the wind. Looks good tho bro keep it up LOL
looks good. a heat gun and squeegee will eliminate the cutting. it will curl itself into shape. awsome video.

Zero issues with it. I think the desert sun has done a good job setting it up for a long run. No fading either.

wanting to do my 20 Camry, but undecided as to use vinyl or plasti-dip. I tried vinyl but didn't like the cutting process, too tedious plus it looked bad, harder than it looks lol. Are your rubber window gasket/trim covered by the the vinyl ?

I wrapped the front emblem in vinyl wrap. Same color I did on the trunk to eliminate the holes when I added the duckbill spoiler.

Putting vinyl is messy with chances of bubbles and stretch marks, i pulled it off day 3 although it was nicely fit, you don’t get that factory install feel

It’s a Honda vendor badge. It’s an accessory you can get from Honda for like $45 bucks. They come in black/chrome.
Hey love you videos very informative I have a question i have a 2017 Honda Accord sport I am going to install the same vinyl wrap but I also ordered some rain guards for my windows do u think if I install the chrome delete will the rain guards hold let me know thanks
Apply the vinyl and let it set for a day or two. Then apply the guards. Make sure you are using quality 3M tape.

KIT IS JUNK! Lasted like 2 months before it started to come off. I removed it and used paint from dip your car and so far its lasted WAY longer!

I did mine a while ago but you made it look so easy.Definitely big difference the car looks a lot
much better.Did you use any heat?
No heat. Just applied them and tucked them into the molding. Cut off any additional vinyl that was hanging over. It was windy but also hot outside which helped me apply the vinyl.
How did this hold up over the years? Any peeling or fading?

Did you have any minor imperfections when installing it? Like minor chrome showing in certain areas?
That looks really SWEET! A total rookie question for you. Do you worry about the adhesive on the vinyl eventually wearing & peeling and coming off over time?
it’s all about prep. if you get it ready, it should last for a long time.
The cali winter and sun have shrunk mine. Scared on how hard will be to remove.
I asked this question almost a year ago. During that time that I was still thinking about what kind of wheels I was going to get. Seeing that my 2022 Accord is also white I wanted to get black wheels too. Problem is everyone and their mother has black wheels. So I wanted to be a little different. On my white car I also have all that chrome but the wheels are gunmetal gray. I chose this color to hide the brake dust and dirt, plus it matches with the chrome. Now I don’t have to black anything out. Yes, I am lazy!
Alcohol got on the black Pilar and it turned faded like grey instead of gloss black .... how do I fix it ?????

Were you aligning it at the top and tucking the bottom or vice versa? That rear quarter piece has given me so much trouble
On the rear piece I aligned the bottom first. So if I did have any overhang it was at the top. Easier for me to run a blade at the top and chop off any excess material. All the other pieces I just lined up the middle and stretched the vinyl over top and bottom of the chrome, then tucked the overhang behind the rubber molding. Came out clean and I didn’t have to cut any more vinyl except the rear pieces.

what type rims are those? are you running spacers as well?... she looks freaking great...(i preferred the chrome just cause it gives a more premium look to the car) but the black out definitely makes this car feel like a pavement shredder

Any rubbing on the front when turning or the rear with passengers? How low did your mpg suffer?
No rubbing. Everything drives and operates like it did when it was stock.
No loss in average mpg?
No it was the same. No issues with speedo or sensors. Once I added the Ktuner on top of it all I actually gained some MPG.
Did you get your rear lowered? What size are the springs?

It's better if you had a heat gun to stretch it a little to fully cover the chrome
Yeah man I agree. I’m still very much a novice with vinyl. I got the hang of it’s malleability when I recently wrapped my roof. The heat gun is a true MVP 👌🏽
Is this the only finish they have or are there others like mat finish or dry carbon fiber maybe?
Only finish is plastic. I made the carbon part for my car. 1 of 1 👌🏽

Yes exact same vehicle specs from 2018-2020. The redesign isn’t going to happen until mid 2021. (Allegedly)

The vinyl is super flexible. If you need to trim and apply around the guards it’s possible.

Yes this is factory paint. It’s a 3 stage paint from Honda. The product I’m installing is from crux motorsports.
