- (20 Mar 2016) Lawyer and activist Amal Alamuddin Clooney on Sunday urged Gulf regional leaders to "reinforce" human rights, which she said the youth "deserve to inherit".
Clooney made the remarks at the International Government Communication Forum in Sharjah, which was attended by more than 3-thousand guests, including leaders from the region and beyond.
The guests were welcomed by the Emir of Sharjah, Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed al-Qasimi.

She’s way too skinny
My daughter is tall and skinny like Amal. She cries whenever I comment on the need to gain weight...because she tries but never gains any. Thin people are as sensitive about their weight as those who're full-figured. Let's leave people's appearance alone and rather focus on their intellect and abilities
