Time?
Thank you for doing this bread challenge! I just started eating a seriously restrictive diet because after 35 years of being a type 1 diabetic & being told that entire time by many doctors that I was a type 2 diabetic(after knowing I was a type 1 diabetic) my dad and brother are both type 1. So for the last 5 years my doctor had me on type 2 diabetic medications. They weren't working & my blood sugar stayed super high. Eventually & recently, everything went side ways & I almost died. It was very traumatic for my family. I went into DKA, diabetic ketoacidosis. I was in a coma for a week & had to learn to walk again, my legs are permanently numb, my bladder was damaged(I won't go into that) my hair was falling out before, but now I am almost bald. Last, brain damage(have had a seizure disorder since 2008) Which caused a brain bleed which caused another super bad seizure which put me in a coma & when I woke up my short & long term memory gone. The doctors in the hospital officially labeled me a type 1 diabetic.
I have an endocrinologist now. I absolutely LOVE her. Sorry for me going off on a tangent, it's just super fresh still. Almost dying less than two months ago, & being on this no carb, no sugar diet in that time makes me miss bread, my favorite food group! lol
Thanks Jeanelle, I need your bread series, if I can't eat bread, I can live vicariously through you!
@Jodie Shipton Thank you! That's so nice of you! I need all the positive vibes I can get!
Wow what a wild ride. I'm sorry all these things are happening to you. Stay strong! You're super brave :D
No one asked, hun. The first and last sentence would be enough.
@@V_channel_ They were just talking about their past, there is no need to be rude.
@@abigailcheck3721 Did I ask you something?
You did so good on your bread challenge
Second comment-
Just a heads up for the monkey bread, I make this with my grandmother but instead of putting the syrup just on the top (when flipped it's the bottom) we would put a small amount of the pieces of bread, then syrup, then another small layer of bread, them the syrup again, and that goes on until you reach the top and its full. That way you get syrup with every bite! 🤗❤️
Congratulations on doing the challenge and finishing it!
I love how she is always so adventurous with her bread choices or even food choices and she is always up for a challenge and honest with us and she’s always willing to try new foods and or breads
Doug’s the luckiest man alive
for the first day with the pandan bread you should try eating it with kaya sauce( coconut jam from malaysia) trust me its delicious
I didnt know I was named after a sauce
I'm finally early for one of your videos! ! You did every day of the bread challange perfectly without a chance of giving up on making a single one!! I admire that work ☺
I enjoy your determination to always have variety in your 30 day challenges
YESSSS you did it!
It was so fun to watch these!!!! Your so amazing Jeanelle
That first one with the pandan was so satisfying!!! The color, the way it sliced, how it came out of the tin, everything lol
hi jeanelle, just a fun fact, in spanish regla has two meanings the first it’s ruler, but the second meaning is “the time of the month”. actually colloquially and informally speaking, many spanish speakers say regla, to refer to menstruation.
Yup
i watched this whole thing and i must say she is so satisfying to watch because of how soothing and funny she is :D
You are really talented!
You should try these Brazilian bread balls that’s has the dough mixed with cheese and by mixed with cheese I don’t mean a cube of cheese in the middle but I mean that cheese is literally mixed with the bread and the bread cheese balls are always and I mean always served at Brazilian restaurants and they’re extremely fluffy and delicious!
And also when you bake something at least space them out
Omg!! This looks so good
This is one of my favourite challenge on RUclips
Regla in spanish can also be used for the time of the month depending on the place, its used in Puerto Rico
My favourite was the fairy bread, living in Australia it was my whole childhood right there
I loved watching this ♥️ good thing I watched well eating otherwise I would be starving rn 😭
I have had the first bread before, it was SOOO GOOD
My favorite is the day old bread from #4 and I also love the sandwich at day #8 it was adorable and I tried to make it, it’s amazing!!!
day nine was actually really nostalgic! my mom used to mix melted hot marshmallows and peanut butter, then mix it. It’s like taffy almost but tastes like a little peanut butter-y. try it!
I LOVE THE CONCHASSS AAAAAAA
Your neighbours are really lucky!! ❤️ luv ur videos Jeanelleats ❤️
Hispanic here I loveeee conchas! Best things ever also love ur vids!
Fluffer nutters are awesome! My dad is from New York and used to have them as a kid, he showed them to me and my siblings a few years ago! Also we make gluten free monkey bread EVERY Christmas morning since I was a kid! So yummy, and definitely addicting lol 😂
I’m from Australia and im so glad to see you try fairy bread and ube butter instead of normal butter ngl kinda wanna try it
My fav was definitely the fairy cake thing with lots of toppings 😊😊
you can also try putting margarin on top and sprinkle with white sugar in ensyamada it's yummy
The pandan green bread will always be my favourite
We called the savoury French toast eggy bread in my household and served it without the toppings but with tomato or HP Brown sauce it was a great breakfast lunch or dinner.
I ate banana fritters in my childhood and I love them 😭
Thank I ask for this one next thx!
Wow that looks good.
Pita bread also known as naan or roti in my country is super traditional in pakistan thx for doing it plus I love bread just like you so happy I ain't alone
when my grandma makes hotteok it’s more so a dough that you press down, what it looks like she made was like with a pajeon batter which is my faav
the fairy bread is my favourite love from australia 🇦🇺 ❤️
17:10 was the moment I got bored then I kept watching and I am so lucky I did. this video is great
You are a good chef
My fave was fairy bread. It’s an Aussie fave
I love ur videos :) Maybe you could try olive bread? I love eating it with cheese or vegetarian lasagna :)
The pizzas looked so good
This would’ve be a perfect quarantine activity
Mine def the pandan bread i grew up with my asian grandmother she always make me these type of bread and it is very yummy and the smell is just so good
Definitely the conchez were my faves
You can deep fry things in coconut oil?! Omg I've been missing out!! I'm going to try this asap. 😂🔥💖🤩
I actually made the savory French toast it was soooooooioo delicious thank you for the idea
Pita bread was one of my favorites and the squid bread I eat pita bread with peanut butter or it’s self. I definitely will try the pizza waffles!
the whole time in the 30 day bread challenge i was thinking of a bread for you to make and now at the end of it i now know a bread for you to make but its too late but if you still want to try to make it the bread i was think was "Yo-Yo" its like a macaroon but ube bread and has butter on the inside like a macaroon hope you try it its one of my favorites.
I don't eat it regularly but it's tastes good with chocolate spread or maple syrup 😋 btw love your content 🙂
On my French toast, we add cinnamon! It’s GREAT!
As an Australian I love fairy bread and you really can’t go wrong when serving it at a kids party
The bread you made from day 5 is actually my 2nd fave bread!! And my brothers fave bread (my fave bread is roti o/roti boy [roti means bread but in indonesia] roti o is a sweet bread thats shaped in a circle but its flat and inside its really soft and it has some butter on the edges it kinda has a small crispy thing? I always eat the edges cuz its sweet and the color is just normal bread basically brown :D)
marshmallow fluff and cream are purely brand differences. they're pretty much identical though. they're both a marshmallow spread.
So I'm Australian and whenever we have sprinkles I always make fairy bread its my favorite
what music did you use? btw, these videos are awesome! my fave was definetly the brownie bread, it looked soooo good! all of these breads make me hungry- lol
You should try a bread with butter and another bread with nutella and put it together
It will taste like donuts
On one of the bread challange (day 7) she made 허떡 (hotteok) which is a popular street food here, but in the end since it wasn’t more of a filling it kinda ended up into a 파전 (pajeon) which is more of a octopus tentacle or sea food pancake usually with some sort of greens like green onions, also can have scallion. I would totally recommend them and correctly made 허떡 all your food looks great though!
Jeane can you pls put Bread peanut butter with hagelslag and then try it it tastes sooo good😊
Pandesal is my favorite! 😋 btw I’m Filipino but I grew up speaking English but I understand tagalog…I also like buko pandan and buko salad is so goooooddddddd
that looks yummy.
My favourite was the strawberry sando!!!!!
Mmm that looks good 👍
Now I’m thinking about it you should create something like your favorites from all of these bread challenges and just make a whole giant bread of it that be so cool I guess this is a challenge it’s easy I think…🤩
I'm from Lao and this leaf is really used a lot in desserts (first one)
My favorite was Strawberry whip braed
6:22
Native Dutcher/Me: Haah-guhl-slahg
Any extra notes: The G is pronounced from the throat, the ''Aah'' is long, the ''ah'' is like the ''a'' in ''father'' or ''Aw''
We also have ''Fruitslag''. I don't know how it tastes like since I always took the Hagelslag because I was a chocolate person so anyone else who had it should describe the taste.
A lot of people also eat it on pancakes and anything sweet really (Or anything that tastes good with sugar), it was weird to me at first, but I started to like it, soo I eat it here and there, not to often though (I need to stop my chocolate addiction)
i would love if you made dumpligs, idk if they are a bread but they seem pretty similar
Jenelle what’s your fav bread day?
Hotteok is so yummy! My halmoni makes it for me and it tastes very good
If you haven’t already made it could you make bannock i had one a couple days ago and i would like to see you make it!
I remember when I was a kid that my grandparents would bring over tons of the Hagelslag and we would eat it with bagels
Oooooh I’ll have to try 😂
The pan de regla, supposed to be moist. with the consistency of lil bit harder than jam.
Your dog is so cute
21:53 reminds me of the first time i baked for the first time by myself (i had to use a legit rock to break it open) and most of my bread hasn't been like the one i was talking about, but i still unfortunately can only make really crusty bread.
Try lowering the oven heat! Hope this might help
@@LuLu39465 i'll try it sometime ,thanks
@@LuLu39465 i hope so too!
Yesss hagelsag en the bigger ones (vlokken) my favorite thing to add on bread as a kid that grew up in the netherlands!!
Day 10 of asking jeanell to make avocado bread which inclued 2 ripe avocados, flour, sugars, 3 eggs and baking powder
Yes, no butter or oil because the fat will be the avocados
Keep up the good work, have a wonderful day jeanell👍🏻👍🏻
For the savory french toast maybe you could try spam, egg, scallion/green onion, some sessions and maybe some soy sauce (optional).
Have no idea if it tastes good lol
Hi the pan de regla has like a jam ish filling and pan de regla was my favorite 😂
Honestly I’m so glad somebody recommended fairy bread because after every birthday party I came home from I’d make fairy bread when I got home
Are you Australian?
@@-ant1qu3- no I’m actual a Kiwi (I’m from New Zealand)
Oh
@@-ant1qu3- alg
@@shylakennard1861 alg?
My favorite bread is friend ship bread you make a batter and use half of it and give one cup to all your friends and then they add to it or if you don’t have friends you save it for yourself
nearly all of these are so far from what i usually eat that i'm starting to think i've never actually tried a huge variety of different flavors
I know the bread challenge is over but could u recreate Texas Roadhouse buns. And the cinnamon paste dip.
The pandan bread reminds me of bread they give out here in indonesia in special events
silog is actually short for "sinangag" and "itlog" which is fried rice and egg
you need to try eggy bread its a french toast in uk and you mix eggs and cover the bread with the eggs and fry it and try it with bacon and eggs as a sandwhich its AMAZINGGGG
You could also make a chocolate pizza for a dessert!
My aunt always makes pandan cake and I eat it so quick
fin fact ! pandan extract (called kewra water in south asia) is also used in pakistani and indian sweets !
In Spanish regla does mean ruler but we also use it to say we’re on our period, “ando reglando, ando en mi regla”…..love your videos!
I wish I could come make bread with u because a lot of it looks really good and I want to try it🍞🍞🍞🍞🍞🍞
For a second I thought it was a firework but then I realized it was a squid
Yes
