    When I was 14 years old I wondered if I could hum and whistle at the same time. With a little practice I found I could. So now I quite often do basically a vocalized lip buzz with a whistle, transition to trumpets, just whistles or just bass/hum, and back.
    Also that last technique reminds me of Tomasahcre's DnB bass.

    the vocalized uvula oscillation (starsky bass/vocal bass) is like saying “ugh” but constricting the gh heavily but still allowing enough room for airflow through your mouth with no passageway through your nose all while vocalizing it for the final step and it feels like a vocalized gargle; thats what it should sound like. it actually doesnt cause any pain at all usually. (honestly much easier to teach for me via recording or call but yeah, hope you get it if you see this😄 and it feels much simpler than it sounds and is relatively easy to get if you know what youre looking for.)

    Starsky bass/vocal bass/what alexinho was trying to explain is not painful at all actually. It's pretty simple to get also: just put some water in your mouth to be able to not spill it if you open the mouth (with your head in a regular standing position) but at the same time enough water to be able to gargle. From here you bend your head up, gargle and then try to go back to the regular head position keeping the gargling going. When you get the clean gargling, just add a tone and that's pretty much it. (this is actually the bass that Pwad does)
    I'm sorry if something is not clear but I'm not an english native speaker and I don't know how to explain it better😂

    DUDE! Once again I see that we're in a similar frame of mind. I've been messing with a few techniques similar to your bass idea over the last month or so. That throat compression in particular is worth exploring further, you get get all kinds of vocal distortion from it, not to mention it's a great way to activate resonance in other areas. I myself don't really know what resonates using that technique, but I know there's at least three distinct resonance points you can create by shifting air to different regions while compressing your upper throat. You can also do it with just your false folds, as you've demonstrated, and while inhaling. Developing that technique is also how i figured out how to activate only my false folds while inhaling, so it's worth a shot. In some spots, it'll irritate your throat right away, but in others it never hurts at all. I'm gonna keep practicing and exploring, but it's been really exciting to see these new developments on your end, and also that you keep coming up with similar ideas! I look forward to your next video, and good luck with those techniques!

      lmao The vocal bass and Starsky bass are not the same things, the vocal bass use the « little thingy at the base of your tongue that can vibrate » with voice, and the Starsky bass is a perfect in between with your chest and falsetto voice

    • @till7178
      @till7178 4 года назад +1

      Polo Tag i thought pwads vocal bass is a lower version of starsky bass

    • @polotag9714
      @polotag9714 4 года назад +1

      @@till7178 It is lower because Pwad doesn't use his falsetto voice, only his chest voice, whereas Starsky's bass uses both chest and falsetto voice, which make it sounds higher ^^

    • @till7178
      @till7178 4 года назад +1

      Polo Tag yeah but imo it’s just a uvula vibration

    • @polotag9714
      @polotag9714 4 года назад +1

      @@till7178 Ok, so first thing down, Starsky's bass is the fart bass, so it doesn't have any kind of rapport with vocal bass, but as we understood each other, it is qualified as a "polyphonic voice", so we both were speaking about not the right thing at all xD.
      I practiced both, it's really not the same thing, for exemple, the polyphonic voice doesn't have much range, as it is a really precise spot between your chest and falsetto voice, it has to be practiced very much to extend its range
      And at the opposite, the vocal bass is really easy to acquire once you've got the lil gargly thing vibrating( glottis ! Found he traduction xD), and you've got as much range as your voice can sing with it.
      It's effectively a vibration, but coming from another part of your body, the polyphonic voice comes from your throat, and the vocal bass is created by your glottis.
      I don't think I can be more precise xD

    I think audical does that last bass, the only difference being that he powers through it and pretty much empties his lungs at once to gain alot of vocalization, although I'm not sure it is "healthy". If you want help with learning the starsky bass and have discord I can instruct you on how to practice it without it hurting or being damaging. I am a native danish speaker and our r sound is produced by that same uvular oscillation, so I'd like to think I'm qualified. Cheers.

    That was a great video bro, big up! Btw, I think u should've included Vibration Bass as a polyphonic sound, as it involves 3 notes (fundamental, 8th below and 5th in between). Keep on learning and spreading knowledge ♥️

    that thing you found out sounds like something i used to do as a kid
    Edit: found out i can do it still, its a bass that some beatboxers use but its like cleaner, idk what its called tho so polyphonic chest bass sounds good

    Starsky is just a vocalized gargle, and polyphonic voice is a constricted falsetto. You are insanely close to getting the polyphonic tech for the last one. Just take out your chest bass so that you only get two fundamental pitches, instead of 3.(Three is harder to make clean)

    I think the final sound is something like a gritty, constricted version of the pash voice.

    That last technique sounds like high chest bass, which is really easy.

    Does anyone know if it's possible to successfully mimic instruments. If so, do you know any beatboxers adept in multiple instrument mimicry. I know Tom Thum has some sound effects and a few instruments Effaybee and Dharni are good with trumpet. I'm just looking for one with like a specialty in that
