One of the biggest selling points for me on the counter depth refrigerator was that I wouldn't lose food behind other food, easier to see everything, and easier to reach everything. Sure its slightly less space but well worth the trade for me.

That cabinet shroud your standing next to at 0:22 is deeper that the counter next to it. I suspect that fridge has a few inches of empty space behind it. This is the issue we found with our new kitchen design and the counter depth fridge. The depth of the shroud was actually 27" and as you mention most counter depth fridges are around 24 (without doors). Also note that door depth varies as well as does handle design on different models - those protrude into your space. Its kind of complicated.

How does a half sheet pan fit in the counter depth?

Hi Larry, given that the typical size of a counter depth fridge is 22 to 24in, you should have no problem fitting a half sheet pan inside. Even in the case of a fairly thin 18in counter depth, it should be able to fit it in, though you may have to watch out for those beverages you keep in your door pockets.
