Love your reviews. I bought one of these a few months ago and love it. My daughter loves to remove those nasty nails when removing drywall nails stuck to the rafters after stomping the ceiling out. Have a great Turkey Day!
I use these tools to pull nails when I’m planing and leveling subfloors prior to flooring installations so that I don’t catch my electric planer on a nail and demolish the blade. I’ve found it’s the best tool for that type of job.
I have a Hart version from HD a cpl of years ago. Ive also used it to pry open the side latches when my tailgate handle broke. Useful little pry bar. That dewalt looks nice.
Surprisingly, I do have one. But the old one without the round thing on the side. Mine's just a regular one from Estwing marketed towards pulling baseboards.
I have the milwaukee version and have found it seems to last a little bit longer, and it having the slimmer and more sharp claws find it easier to use with less damage to the material.
Love how you involved women in the “my dudes and dudettes”!!!!!! I started my carpentry class so I have been looking for something that makes it a bit easier!
I really liked the size of this and its lightweight. Now I'm looking for other uses for the coring tool. Potentially a punch for leather or canvas to set large grommets.
I like the videos on all the big flashy power tools but I like the videos on the little things too. Have seen this thing in the store but was like ??? 🤔I learned something new. 👍 Thank you!
Smeeshed! invaluable when I had to remove old (awesome) redwood siding to re-frame the wall. Thanks TRZ. I think "Vance" owns one too. Stops splintering.
I have the Stanley model and it's superior. The lil hole thing doesn't get used much at my job, I just dig the claw in and bash with my hammer then pry.
Me and Clint have the exact same taste in tools lol. I bought the dewalt clamp kits and then he comes out with a video, I buy this thing. Then a vid comes out XD
Loved this video, so much…I shamack-it that like button, then I whack-it that like button, then I sha-lack-it that like button. Thanks and Please keep posting content. Happy subscriber here👍🏽
@@ToolReviewZone Thanks, I'll go wait by my mailbox! That earns you a subscribe and like. I do appreciate the way you try to keep that "Vance" guy in check.
👏👏, a leather hole punch also😀, thank you for the great information video, hope y’all have a blessed, safe Thanksgiving Day, try not to over stuff yourself 😀
YEP, “sla-acking-it” 🤣 WHAAAT, that’s so funny! Is great, AND so is this type of tool (cats paw, claw paw, claw bar are other names I’ve heard this tool called)! Would even go and say, MUST have if doing woodworking, AND my OTHER FAV Pry “bar” tools of mine are my Titan 17007 3-Piece Stainless Steel Pry Bar set; very useful for trim removal, excess mud from bottom of walls, around boxes, etc for when mud and texture are done. My last fav optional tool is a J-Tool (J-bar) tool for bee keeping and usually these are painted YELLOW, RED, or BLACK, and I scrape that paint right off, b/c don’t want it flaking off later on on finished work or mixing in w/ other materials doing rough/finish work……not very cooool, imo. Have great Gobble Gobble Gobble Day☺️
@ToolReviewZone regular cat paws aren't titanium. Dimpler is a joke. Claws easily pull any nail. Its in the way. All my friends cut that stupid over engineered lug off.
Link for the Claw Bar In Description!
I don't have any friends to share this with... Sorry.
Me either 😢
Man, I wish I had a friend 😂.
I was clawing away for the awesomeness of this tool. I was nailed to it and couldn’t pry myself away until the end.
Omg 👊👊👊🤣🤣🤣 Brother man Dan hahaha
You really leveraged a lot of good jokes out of this tool
@@BLKSG6 🤣🤣👊
@@BLKSG6 bravo 👏👏👏👏
🤣
I have this tool, never knew what the extended "hole thing" was for though, until now.
Hope it helped!
Haha
I never knew how to use this tool. Thank you for showing us not so inclined people how to use it.
No worries John, I'm just glad it helped out brother 👊
I have this tool, but was unaware of the smack whack shalak sequence. I was just hitting it regular like a bafoon. Thank you.
Hahahahaha 👊 🤣

Awesome feedback Marilynn and thank you so much for the support!!!!!!!
I have this and its awesome. Everything from nails to screws to even pulling out insulation, stronger than a hammer.
Thanks for the feedback Cole!!!
I have had this tool for over two years. It is very useful!!!! Thanks for posting this.
Awe, thanks for the feedback Lisa!!!!!
I need to get me one of those. I usually don't make mistakes but I need to convince my Wife that I need it. Wish me luck.
🤣🤣👊

Awesome feedback 👍 👌
I have the estwing version of that catspaw. It lives permanently in my tool belt it's a must have. I like that Dewalt version not bad .
Thanks for the feedback 21!!!
Could have used that when I remodeled my 1940s house 10 years ago. Had real 2x4s and 4"spikes. Absolutely destroyed the boards
Lol 🤣👊
I've used one before.... but it didn't have the extended hole part.
It was called a Cat's Paw
DeWalt has different sizes in black and also in yellow. I have all of them and they're awesome
Thanks for the feedback brother
i been using this for years love it
Well, done video! Great humor, you’ve got it nailed. Everybody else is aggravating, but your delivery etc. is right on.
Really appreciate this comment brother
They are well made tools nearly indestructible
Pretty impressive 👏
The dimpler is my favorite feature about this Tool it will get you out a ton of Jams @ToolReviewZone
I bought this years ago flooring pulling squeaky nails in sub floors!!
I have a Hart version from HD a cpl of years ago. Ive also used it to pry open the side latches when my tailgate handle broke. Useful little pry bar. That dewalt looks nice.
Nice. I've done demolition jobs and being that this is compact it would've come in handy so many times.
Absolutely brother 👊
Surprisingly, I do have one. But the old one without the round thing on the side. Mine's just a regular one from Estwing marketed towards pulling baseboards.
Awesome 👊

I have had this Exact dewalt One for 6 months and it has Come in handy clint I like it Real Nasss Like @ToolReviewZone
I love mine. I retired my 25 year old cats paw for this one several months ago.
That's awesome Dan, appreciate the feedback brother 👊
I feel today years old when you showed me what the round hollow knob is for. Just took apart a pallet not using it. Next one will be a piece of cake.
I have a few of these different brands. A Dewalt and A Cresent and Milwaukee and a Old Stanley good video Clint @ToolReviewZone
I have the Milwaukee version. When you need it you need it.
I have a slide hammer nail puller that is at least 70 years old that will do the job in less than half the time with less damage to the wood.
Awesome tool. Every framer carries a little cat's paw in their belt...
We call this one the apprentice's best friend! 😆
I like the videos on all the big flashy power tools but I like the videos on the little things too. Have seen this thing in the store but was like ??? 🤔I learned something new. 👍
Thank you!
Haha, thanks for the awesome comment Bryan!!!
It's designed to allow for a plug after you extract the nail
The 2 slots on the back look like they are for a purpose. What do you use those two slots for?
That’s legit!!! I could of used that a million times in the last few months.😫
Definitely a helpful tool Ryobi Guyb👊👊👊
my dentist used that on me but first he sterilized it with a propane torch . It was real nice like!
Hahahaha, ouch 🤣👊👊
Really enjoying your videos! Keep it up!
Thanks Adam!!!!! 👊👊👊
Interesting. I have a slide handle nail puller that’s older than I am (67). But this is smaller.
Really Cool Tip Clint I haven't seen one of those yet with the hole punched 👍🏻
It's definitely a handy little tool and not expensive Jamal 👊
Definitely “Nice like!” Thx Clint!😃
Haha, thanks Matt! 👊
I almost bought the Dewalt one but for a couple dollars more the Milwaukee with the rubberized grip is so so much nicer!
Send link !
What are those "flutes" below the punch for or are they purely decorative?
Flutes? Sounds like aerodynamics
idk who needed this vid. These have been around for years. it's literally in every carpenters pouch.
Don't forget to SMEEESH
I'm guessing you needed since you watched it!
@@Sacapuntas69 I own several. This exact one has been in my pouch for years. Thanks for coming out though.

How is it these videos come out just after I'm finished doing it the hard way. Just my luck I guess. Thanks Clint, my nest new tool.
Stocking stuffer! 👍🏼👍🏼
I got my first cats paw 20+ years ago. So helpful! Never saw one with that hole though. Pretty cool
Smeeshed! invaluable when I had to remove old (awesome) redwood siding to re-frame the wall. Thanks TRZ. I think "Vance" owns one too. Stops splintering.
Hahahaha, thanks for the feedback brother and Vance is da man! 🤣🤣🤣

@@ToolReviewZone Thanks, I'll go wait by my mailbox! That earns you a subscribe and like. I do appreciate the way you try to keep that "Vance" guy in check.
I never knew such thing existed but how well would it work on harder wood such as oak?
Smeeesh that like button. 👀👉🏽 👍🏽
It would work, but would definitely take a few more blows with the hammer brother.... ohhh.. and thanks for the SMEEESH Jason!!!
That is SHAAA WEEET!
Hahaha 🤣👊
Man, how clever the Chinese. Decent innovation. Real Nass Like...
Nice cat's paw! Sooooo, can you glue that wood plug back in? 🤔 Maybe dampen it to expand it back to size?
I doubt it would expand that much, but could definitely plug it 👊
@@ToolReviewZone Well now I have to buy it 😄 Thanks for your time and making us laugh!!
I already have two.
What I like about this tool is I can afford this, can’t afford the framing nailer, they are about €4000 here.
Wow, really!!! 😲
Schmacking, whacking & schlacking ❤
FINALLY IT'S BACK?
Say whaaaaaa?
I have this tool, tried it but dont feel it is that great. Its bar length is not long enough so lever force is too small.
Yeah buddy!! Amazing tool
I love this thing brother 👊👊
Another great review! A+
Thanks brother!!!
I agree you’ll regret it good thing is that I own 2 of those and now THATS real nasssssss like

Good grief, Clint. to keep from over driving nails, all one has to do is use nails with washers. Sheesh! 😉🤣
🤣👊

hes the type of dude that when he sees food, he wiggles his his fingers and says "well dont mind if i do!"
