Great video as always! Really enjoyed it :) TK really have a fantastic economy product, the food looks delicious and of good portion! Once they completely move to the new IST airport, their ground product will (finally) be pretty good as well.
The TK lounge in IST remains a great lounge but that black mold in the shower is unacceptable, how could they not see that!

Hey Amandeuce!Very nice report,TK's economy class is quite good on both long haul and short haul.Food is always delicious on TK flights.Didn't you get a Turkish delight which they serve after boarding/departure??.3:23 i guess that's the OZ A330 which had a collision with TK A321.Take care bye.

@@nasuhalgul That was the point of my comment, I flew Turkish airlines a couple of years ago, and found their a330 very comfortable, but their a321 quite bad. Judging from this video though, they improved it since.

3 years back when I flew from Istanbul to Geneva, all they gave was water/drinks/coffee only. May be they changed the intra - Europe in flight service?

Turkish Airlines really do Economy better than everyone else IMO. Anyone know if they will re-create the crazy (and awesome) lounge at the new airport ?

There are plans to create a Lounge for Economy Passengers as well, but only Turkish Airlines passengers, not Star Alliance.

This is probably your last video from Old Istanbul airport because it will be shut down on 1 March 2019. Also I think you are lucky to have IFE system because except wide body aircrafts, only A321s have IFE system. A320s or 737s don't have. And last, 6:17 Austria doesn't trust Turkish Airlines that much? :o

There are actually some THY 737’s with IFE systems.

All planes besides a few 737 which are mainly used domestic don't have IFE but they recently got WIFI for streaming. They'll be replaced in the coming years anyway :)
