- I was so sad to hear of the loss of Aretha Franklin, the Queen of Soul. She was/is every singers goal. So much perfection in her voice and talent in her musicianship and stagecraft. A lady that changed the lives of so many.
This is just my little tribute to a big star.

Jessica Barbot, Thanks Ms. Barbot, I really think that Ms. Hawnt’s talent/voice is as good as any (Celine Dion/Barbara Streisand/Whitney Houston etc.), and she seems like a really great person too! Would love the opportunity to meet her and hear her sing live! 😀 I hope she never quits pursuing her dreams, and starts to get the recognition and accolades that she deserves...!!!

You have the uncanny ability to grab the essence of the original singer who made the tune famous without trying to be a carbon copy from start to finish. Adding your own interpretation. Some texture. Like a chameleon who can change colours. With range and depth.
If anything...while it's obviously your choice to choose known songs...I've noticed that many great singers...even those that have "made it" (e.g. Michael Bolton from the US). Sax player from the US--Kenny G. RUclips Sax player who goes by "Felicity Saxophone"...all play popular tunes...the 2 Americans careers began to rise then STALLED...and pretty much died. While others who picked their tunes better stayed relevant for decades. Just hate to see a talent like yourself possibly fall into that hole.
ADELE..pretty much a one hit wonder. Even if she is still working she's no longer headline news. One Bond song.
I prefer Rachael's version. Sorry but thats just me.
