I like how she basically command to Irulan to marry either the fanatic leader of the Fremen who will dethrone her father or the psychotic Harkonnen heir who will dethrone her father so that the Bene Gesserict will stay in charge.
Poor Irulan; this entire movie she is just dealing with her parental figures f@&k-ups and being forced to do damage control for them. What’s worse is she's smart enough to realize they have petty-@ss motivations for their actions too: the reverend mother is angwy Jessica wouldn’t obey her (real master of emotions you are huh?)and produce a daughter, because god forbid we ever have the Bene Gessrit not controlling everything like a intergalactic HOA made up of catty Karen’s. Meanwhile the emperor was jealous of Leto for being so influential, then proceeds to mope about killing him and his entire family while his power crumbles around him. This could all have been avoided had they married Irulan to Paul in the first place but instead they got billions killed just to end up there anyway.
@@luiousy7329 After Ix engineers hyperspace craft with mechanics that avoid friction, The Scattering begins. Not immediately afterward, the Honored Matre appear. They have the skills and knowledge of the Bene Gesserit, but without the rules. They are not in the grey area. They are perverted evil. It isn't clear how they developed. They are an evil branching off the Bene Gesserit, and I think the Face Dancers are integrated in their development. They are in the last two novels of the six written by Frank Herbert.

And even then, it doesn't work. See: Messiah

0:44 😒 christ this reverent mother really is in love with herself . I thought it was just a summer fling but turns out its the real deal
That's quite an interesting head piece Florence is wearing.
The design makers of that movie were high on some special stuff
Everyone is praising her entire outfit.
The metallic face mask mixed with that emotionless face when she is on Arrakis. Fearsome.
@@jeromerizzo423I loved that scene.
@@dayangmarikit6860 it shows how "cold" Irulan can be.
