Any time I have read comments on a jungle/drum n bass thread, they are always full of love and positive affirmations, and this thread is no slouch. Thank the universe for people like the author of this type of music, the community associated and the channels and people as well. The world may be on fire, but these threads are the water to douse it out. Thank you all
Legend in a low-poly cape is here, mates!! Well excited for this mix, and just as happy to see you active! Smissmass cheers to all, and a happy new year!
A lot of music that people call "timeless" is still sort of timed, but I really think this style of music will never go out of fashion. Keep making this amazing stuff :)
The blended transitions between tracks really helps me stay in the zone. I don't mind abrupt cuts between tracks normally, since I can quickly get refocused, but this really helps me just get deeply focused. Thank you for this!
funny thing just happened to me :D I looked up from studying to take a small break and instantly recognized something familiar: the Gran Turismo 4 car dealership. And a split second later I realized I'm looking at exactly my very own car! The moment passed very quickly so I had to go back and check and I was correct! It was even in the right color! It's the Audi A3 3.2 quattro from 2003 painted in Akoya Silver Metallic at 18:02 Thanks for the awesome mix
I've listened to everything in your library today and loved it. Don't know how I stumbled upon it or if the algorithm knew I was needing to hear it. Hoping to hear more from you. I know you only put this out a month ago but hoping you'll do more soon.
These mixes keep me in-touch with myself. Played so many of these games. I feel each one of your discs captures the design language so well. Thanks for this Holiday treat
It's like people just don't understand that era and the specific nostalgia and drscirbing it and capturing it is just... Elusive. Pizza Hotline successfully manages to encapsulate that mood, tone, and time in very dynamic compliations of visual and aural synergistic pieces trapped in the recessed of our brains and manages to meld selective soundfonts and other sensual keepsakes from that era into comprehensive explorations of an incredibly niche, experimental (and thus oft misunderstood), and uniquely creative time when videogames transitioned from 2D to 3D and had yet to fully establish the commonly accepted conventions of modern gaming as we have come to know them today. This channel is not only valuable for its retrospective lens into the paste, but also as a preservation of the human experience of that 1994-2002 time period, that, unfortunately, was far more fleeting than many of us realized until it has already departed.
A few days ago, I was playing Waverace 64 on my friend's MiSTer FPGA system using its newly developed "Nintendo 64 core". It runs great! The MiSTer is definitely something to check out if you want to play older systems using new hardware. It's better than emulation if done correctly. Thanks for the music!!
sounds interesting..i really hope you can help as you sound like you guys really know what's best...i have no new hardware.. back in the 1990s i set up a really good system (Ultra Wide SCSI!) before people were using PCs or Macs to record music then moved on to Macs..if i was going to do intensive DAW recording of my music, and try to edit really good quality films/documentaries,, and have the ability to live stream me doing my music (two systems best?) and want good ways to store the files off the system so i don't run out of drive space what would you recommend as essentials these days for cutting edge ahead of the curve setup . so it only goes obselete tomorrow not yesterday!?:) would love any input.. no innuendo intended would hugely appreciate any opinions, or if any people see getting rid of an old system that still works please shout me as I'm broke and trying to rebuild my life so need something cool to aim for
Oh!! New pizza hotline DnB mix!!! I camt wait to listen to this. I throw these on when i go for my walks. Will be doing a Christmas early morning walk to this. Thanks for all the amazing music you have shared with us
At 21:12, that Test Drive Le Mans OST track hit me right in the nostalgia feels! 🎮🎶 Such a classic from the Dreamcast days. Loving this mix, it's the perfect blend of gaming nostalgia and chill vibes. Thanks for taking me back with this awesome track! 👾🕹 #GamingMemories #NostalgiaTrip"
An echo of nostalgia tingled my spine that I couldn't place . I crossed the floor from my perch in pews to the dancefloor at the arts club. I joined the crowd, drink in hand, and bopped to the beat. That memory... Motherfucker, it was the Ape Escape theme you were playing. Best find at Barber Night!
The Test Drive Menu song.. had no idea it existed, but it's by far one of my most favorite tracks on here. Keep up the amazing work! Your releases are always a highlight of my day.
Amazing, as always! Thank you! If you would like some recommendations for Disc 6, both WinBack and WinBack 2: Project Poseidon have some jungle tracks.
A couple track recommends: -Speed freaks (ps1/ps2) - Stadium & Results -Sonic riders zero gravity(ps2) - Through traffic -Hitman contracts (ps2/xbox 360) - Streets of hong kong & Slaughter club (The hitman stuff would be great for a dark techno/breakbeat mix if thats your thing) -Halo 1 (xbox original) - Ambient wonder -Yakuza 7: like a dragon (current gen) - Foreboding (This particular yakuza one would work with the darker stuff)
Low Poly Breaks DISC 5 ?? Oh lord, keep it together michael silviera. keep it together.
Massive brownie points for that comment 😁😂😎
We making it out of the Wii Sports Resort with this one!
The graphic of the PS2 Boot screen with the ocean shots is so simple, but so damn effective
These mixes and visuals are genuinely part of the reason I enjoy being alive.
I love you pizza
My heart is covered in cheese

You do real Haiku.
With the correct Syllables.
Most poets don't now.
I don't do haiku
Just want to include myself
I hope that's okay
By the nine divines, this is beautiful

-Speed freaks (ps1/ps2) - Stadium & Results
-Sonic riders zero gravity(ps2) - Through traffic
-Hitman contracts (ps2/xbox 360) - Streets of hong kong & Slaughter club
(The hitman stuff would be great for a dark techno/breakbeat mix if thats your thing)
-Halo 1 (xbox original) - Ambient wonder
-Yakuza 7: like a dragon (current gen) - Foreboding
(This particular yakuza one would work with the darker stuff)
