OK BUT WILBUR WRITING TOMMYS DIALOGUE IS FUCKING INCREDIBLE ABSOLUTELY SPOT ON
RIGHT?! Not only the writing but the way he voiced c!Tommy and the other characters, as well. The way he voiced c!Tommy was SPOT ON! He perfectly captured his annunciation and inflection in which he responds to things with.

For those who got a little confused. The first part of the VOD was unfortunately muted. Thankfully it's only about the first 20 seconds of the actual reading that got lost, afterwards the audio is fine. I think I saw a version that managed to catch the full audio but I'm not sure if it was uploaded somewhere yet.
Thankfully nothing much was missed. At the start Wilbur just said that he actually planned to start the stream by starting to read immediately to "make it cool" but decided last minute that he was gonna say hi to chat and explain what he was gonna read as some people might not have actually known that he was planning to do lore in a written form. After that, he just starts reading and the audio thankfully picked up right after the lore started.

yes, there was a version of the vid saved which managed to capture the beginning of his narration. it doesn’t have the very beginning though where wilbur talks to chat. forgot who posted, but you can find it with a quick search

HOW IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT THE "WLBUR FELT ALIVE" it is such a heavy and characterdefining line. Wilbur really sees ANY emotion, good or bad, as a sign that he is still alive. so he chases after the most intense, and easiest to obtain, ones, which are usually the bad ones, or the ones that can lead to negative consequences. also RANBOO IS SO BRAVE I LOVE HIM😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Honestly I'd love a book series with the DreamSMP lore, both the cannon lore and stuff that was supposed to be cannon, could be cannon or is cannon in another timeline.

Gosh I love the way he voices the characters, especially Tommy- Honestly? I would love so so much for the entire thing to be done this way- It gives a lot more insight into the characters and it's more organized- I joined the fandom late, so I had to piece together what the story was from a bunch of random vods, and I missed out on a lot of the key things!! This was so much easier to figure out the timeline of-

I would definitely love to have a similar format of the lore that has already passed to history (aka what has already happened), and I also believe it's a good way to implement certain episodes, or scenes, if they don't have enough time to play them out in the future. Having it this way would make it much easier for newcomers to learn what happened without having to go through countless vods and povs (I literally started from fan animations a month ago, and I'm slowly moving my way around some of the vods channels), but at the same time I feel like watching the vods just adds to the experience ^-^ you don't get to doomsday with a few lines, oh no, you sit through 20 and more minutes of preparation with the crew XD
Anyway, I'm still shaking and I kinda don't know how to put my thoughts into a coherent phrase, so sorry if it's messy

I was wondering why most of the animations were called “Hitting on 16.” It’s because what’s happening in the animation happens in the chapter Hitting on 16. This is just great though. These little bits and crumbs of script and lore written as a story/musical script with chapters and acts with a narrator point of view. It’s like reading a story. If Ranboo died canonically like this we (chat) would’ve been broken. Torn apart and sickened. Either way Ranboo dying was sickening and just terrible.

I found this whole script I suppose you'd call it, delightfully true to how the content creates actually speak. I would love to see the bts process for writing things like the scripts for the lore, but also just how they created the timeline for the smp. in all that was quite lovely .

I’ve been switching between reading along and having my mouth hanging open in awe because honestly, Wilbur’s an amazing writer and an even better storyteller.

This is so immensely art inspiration
Tommy's dialogue throughout all of this is a nice break from the depressing story of Wilbur once again falling to insanity trying to prove himself. It's just so ridiculous and keeps me going with some hope.
But even so, Tommy does try his hardest to convince Wilbur, remaining a loyal friend, trying to help. But Wilbur never listens. Even when Quackity at the start puts aside their differences to offer him a position, in a moment of weakness Wilbur tries to act like he's bigger than he is. He never can put aside his own self righteousness, his steadfast belief that only he is the best, the he's the smartest man on the server.
Then through his hubris, he manipulates Ranboo, and starts pulling him and Tubbo apart. He doesn't even care that they all think he needs help, he continues with his plan. Poor Bxner... he was about to become mule bits.
And finally, it all goes wrong. Tubbo tries to do his job and sabotages his plan, Quackity fight like two men in a burning building while trying to save them, unable to put their differences aside, both blaming the other. It doesn't end until Ranboo manages to put the previous day's conflict aside for Tubbo, and really show them... it was never about the burgers. It was never about power. It was about trying to prove themself, just like he and Tubbo had. It was time to show them how fragile they all really were.

I think if I remember correctly, he lost his first 2 lives during his enderwalk. This is before the prison break (not sure tho lmao), cuz this arc started way before the prison break.

This is pre-prison break but its cannon value regarding to the other characters is up to interpretation. As of currently we still don't know the cannon reason for ranboo being dead dead in prison break.

Love how basically the Prison Arc and Wilbur were both competing to kill off the sad enderman boy, poor Ranboo.
I do like how this is essentially treated as an alternate timeline that merges back into the main story after Ranboo's death. I see it as Wilbur getting revived back into the wrong timeline, before jumping back into the right one or both timelines combining. Let's just hope the story doesn't get messy like this again haha.
