Reylo film/novel splice: Kijimi/Kylo’s quarters Force Bond connection (The Rise of Skywalker)

This is probably my least favourite Reylo scene from all three films. Despite the beautiful special effects of them fighting in the white room and Kijimi, the dialogue is loaded with clunky exposition from Kylo. There is too much fighting while the truth about Rey’s poor parents is crammed in.
A few notes:
- Included here, abridged, is a scene from the novel where Zorii sees Kylo Ren having a tantrum because they missed catching Rey on Kijimi.
- To keep this video from being too long (and getting a copyright block) I haven’t included the novel’s narrative of the flashbacks with Rey’s poor parents.
- Sadly, Kylo’s “she was in my quarters!” line isn’t in the novel! So I have included the film clip of it at the end.
