@@dynahvelvixin.8615 I can think of one. That we'd eventually learn Ben is in some sort of Limbo, he did indeed die after giving his life force to Rey. But since they were a Dyad, he and Rey share the same life force so as long as that life force remains active, neither can truly die. I can see Rey saving him from the limbo in the future.

He said he would finish what his grandfather started and he did. Anakin's goal was to save the woman he loved from dieing but failed but Ben saved his love from dieing.

He didnt outperformed Vader. Vaders last act was to save Luke, which he loved. So Vader(Anakin) was actually able to save what he loved from dying. Both Luke and Leia was the last legacy he had from Padme and he saved them.

i feel like not a lot of people really understand their relationship. it’s very subtle but it’s also very strong. it’s something only avid observers can really feel and dig into if they’re looking
I think people overlook that scene in the hut in The Last Jedi. They literally bared their souls to each other. They let each other into the darkest and loneliest parts of their mind. That's a huge deal. Imagine seeing the absolute ugliest parts of a person and still wanting to be with them. They're love would be truly unconditional

You don't give your life to another person for nothing. SIGH. Ben KILLED Snoke because of Rey! Not even his father could persuade him to turn back but Rey, who, he barely knew made him do things he probably didn't even thought he'd do. In the first movie, you'd see how much he wants Snoke's approval and he was like this child who'd do anything to please Snoke! But all that changed when he met Rey! He even obsessed making her his empress!

In the official dictionary of episode 9, it was said that Ben decide to kill Snoke after their first meeting in episode 8. He planed to kill him and use Rey like a diversion for Snoke.

It just occured to me today that Kylo Ren never hurt Rey at all physically. They fought a lot but she never got hurt. And as Ben Solo he definitely had a change of heart.

Do you really think that made sense for the story though? Don't you think the other members of the Resistance would have thought it strange when she brings him back with her and not only that, they are a couple? I'm guessing they would have at least had some words with her about that, particularly Poe as I feel even after all they went through I really don't think he likes her all that much and would find any excuse to kick her out of the group.
But let me guess, you won't address that. You'll just tell me how I don't understand Star Wars and that I'm not a true fan and that Disney is paying me. Okee Dokee.
Your editing is flawless. You tell the story of Rey and Ben's dyad so perfectly. Like if you have chills (and let's be honest, how can you not).
Here's hoping Disney will learn from this. In the end, Ben and Rey were the Last Jedi, not just Rey alone.

Wholeheartedly agree and I think Disney owes us a better ending. They could have had Ben standing behind Rey on Tattoine as a Force Ghost saying "I will always be with you" but they didn't, a huge opportunity was missed.

Just love their story. They are the embodiment of Yin and Yang. Opposites, but equals too, always connected by the force and strongest when united. Daisy and Adam did an amazing job in showing us this connection. ❤

To be honest Kylo Ren/Ben Solo is definitely one of my all time favourite characters from all Star Wars films. I just love the progression I think he alone is a wonderful story and Adam smashed it 👏🏻 and what Ben has with Rey was honestly the highlight of the new trilogy. These two made the new trilogy enjoyable. I mean the originals are definitely better but honestly I 1000% prefer these 2 and their story line to Han and Leia, even if you don’t see Reylo romantically (which I do anyways) you can’t deny these 2 have amazing chemistry and were the best thing from the new trilogy (maybe, apart from Boba Fett 😂) I actually found myself really interested in the new trilogy just based off these 2 and their story. They are forever and always and I love them both. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

What a lovely edit of Rey and Ben’s story. Rey a Palpatine, Ben a Skywalker, tied together as a dyad in the Force acting as the mechanism of balance. Their chemistry is profound and it shows in this edit.
She's yang from earth, he's yin from the sky. When they adjust, balance comes back into the world.
Bless your brilliant mind!!!! You've symbolized the significance of the Dyad PERFECTLY! Something tells me the story of the Dyad has just begun... here's hoping a new trilogy, a new saga will begin following the stories of the DYAD (Rey and Ben).

One of the greatest stories/love stories of my lifetime. The way they can see the light and darkness in each other and call it out, the way they are there for each other, their undeniable connection, their equality in power, and of course their sacrifice for each other.... it makes me so emotional. Thank you star wars and thank you all the people who worked to bring such a compelling love story to life.

I really don't like the sequels because there was no connected story between the movies.. but this edit is perfection, it gives everything a reason.
There is....unfortunatley not fot the main character, so all other story arcs sufer heavily.
Unfortunately, there is no reason. The edit is great, sure, but the story arc is....sorry to say... is garbage.

Edit: dear lord I’m in tears. Whilst TROS may not have been the ending of the saga the way I had wished, that takes nothing away from this absolute masterpiece of an edit. The way you incorporate the voiceovers (I’m not sure if that’s the right word 😅) and the clips completely blows me away. By far my favourite bit was from 9:12 when you put Luke’s words to Rey over clips of Ben because honestly, when those lines were in the trailer, I was convinced that they were directed to Ben or, at least, Ben and Rey. His words combined with all the other force “teachings” culminating in Ben and Rey was wow. Just wow. Words cannot stress the love I have for this edit. This was amazing! ❤️❤️❤️

I-Im speechless. I'm crying like a big baby and this is so inspiring. This is something I will definitely come back to watch but my goodness. This just hit me somewhere in the heart differently and I'm just in awe. The voiceovers(if that's what u call them), absolutely everything the clips just sum it up amazingly. There is no words for how much I love this. I miss Ben. I miss the excitement I had waiting for new star wars movies, but u gave me that kind of fluttery feeling and I'm just speechless, I hope I dont sound weird but, I'm not even kidding this may be my favorite video on RUclips. That sounds insane I know but I love this so much. Your creativity is amazing. There was so much effort put into this, I can tell. Thank you.

Wow.. this was phenomenal. It made me so emotional.. like literal chills. Their chemistry is unbelievable. If it weren't for them, this ST wouldn't have been what it is. I knew they had something from the very beginning. They're a powerful Star Wars couple. I can't believe there are people who are fighting tooth and nail over this and how the kiss "came out of nowhere". This dyad and relationship progression was clear as day. I can't get enough of them. I could honestly watch more Star Wars movies with them forever. Ugh they deserved so much better.

7:20 Is probably my favorite moment of the entire movie. If there was any trace or hint of Kylo Ren or any doubt left it was wiped out in this moment, He chose Rey and returned fully to the Light Side of the Force and was no longer Kylo Ren but Ben Solo, Jedi Knight.
Willing to face death itself so long as he was with Rey. I love their bond, the movie had its flaws but Ben was one of the best things about it.

I had the biggest grin on my face while watching, except for the last two minutes, which were so breathtaking they almost brought me to tears! Skywalker trilogy is over, they want to make a new trilogy who takes place before episode one.
The actress of Rey, Daisy Ridley, said multiple time that she's done with Star Wars at least for now.
I see what you’re saying. If it’s not in the next trilogy, it will be in the one after that (exactly like they’ve done with the first and second trilogies). As planned, they set up Finn to be a Jedi and it would be poor writing to end Ben Solo and Rey how they left it in TROS. Ben didn’t have a force ghost and there’s many ways they can bring him back (he died on exegol which has connection to the underworld and powers yet discovered). Since they’re a dyad, Ben solo literally cannot fully pass on until Rey does. They left it completely open (but they did it strategically so they can pick up when they want to).

So he became one with the force, maybe as the same way Qui-gon Jinn did.
Sangoku s this is the first time ever where the Dyad was summoned. I guarantee that the next trilogy (especially if it’s taken place before episode 1) will add a lot of context to this Dyad. Possibly renditions of past lives. The context they create in Star Wars 10-12 would set up Ben and Rey perfectly in another trilogy. The connections are too solid to ignore. Besides the story itself having golden opportunities to be developed even deeper, there was a viral petition on change.org to bring Ben Solo back (I signed it as well). There’s just too much support (from the story, to the Easter eggs in TROS, to the fans) that says their story has just begun.
Now, speaking as a 'neutral' (i.e. someone who neither hates nor loves Star Wars but still enjoyed all 9 films as big cinema holiday blockbusters with me mates) I can say this is one of the most emotional and touching works of video art I have seen for a very long time. To use and edit footage from the controversial sequel trilogy - especially TLJ & TROS i.e. episodes 8 and 9 respectively - and turn it into something beautiful like this video is pure art and fantastic talent. The music chosen, the timing, the dialogue, the focus on facial expressions and the clips used got me a lot more emotionally invested than the sequel films did. Basically everything was near flawless. I really hope the creator of this video continues this work and goes far. 10/10 on my scale. Great stuff.
One more thing - to turn the Star Wars car crash of an ending into a really mystical and unknown yet an optimistic and wondrous future-type ending is pure genius.

In regards to Ben/Kylo and Rey... to me, they have THE most profound love story in the entire franchise (yeah I said it) and it’s tragic that not a lot of people picked up on it. But I’ve come to realize it’s because so much of their bond was UNSAID. It was mental. Emotional. They connected on inner levels rather than outer. It wasn’t physical. Not for the most part, at least. And to me, it was beautifully executed despite how much the rest of the story lacked. THEY made the sequels in my opinion. So thank you for creating a video that showcases JUST HOW dynamically powerful they really are. It’s stunning.
Anakin and Padme was way more deep then Disneys sad attempt at making a love story. Reylo is a straight mistake and shouldn't be canon.

@@graceedits3118 mostly because I wanna know what and why, I had a hate for this ship for a while so I sometimes tend to start just commenting my opinion left and right which obviously isnt a great habit(like this situation) back to why and what. Why do you love this ship so much, and what do you believe is so great about it?

In return tho, I'd love to ask two questions: 1, what about Reylo do you hate? 2, why do you hold Anakin and Padme at a higher level than Ben and Rey?
@@graceedits3118 I lost this comment a while ago, apologies for not saying something sooner, although I'll answer your questions(if you're still interested) Reylo, for me, is a very abusive take on a pairing, mainly for the fact that Kylo Ren is a terrible, vile, and monstrous person that can be compared to a nazi. Another reason is that Kylo Ren has nearly killed Reys friends multiple times, if I were in Reys situation, I wouldnt find that attractive. Kylo Ren also basically mind raped Rey. There are many claims saying Kylo was gentle with her, but if you look at the scene and look at Reys face at the moment he enters her mind, you can see shes in extreme discomfort. They have basic understanding of eachother, but that doesnt erase Kylo Rens actions, nor does the defense of "Kylo Ren isnt Ben Solo", lots of people also give Darth Vader that luxury which I also find stupid because a Redemption Arc isnt a *get out of jail free* card, if Kylo Ren wasnt as vile and terrible as he was in the Sequel Trilogy, I would have absolutely 0 problem with the pairing, prior to it being canon, I didnt have much of a problem with either, and a while ago before I actually opened my eyes to see the situation, I shipped it, so I've been on both sides of this mess, with a clear experience of both sides of the community. Now onto your question about Anakin and Padme.
I like and enjoy Anakin and Padmes relationship because it's built upon more, and is much more...healthy. Anakin and Padmes relationship isnt in anyway abusive until the end of Revenge of the Sith, where Anakin force chokes her, but before that point everything was fine, only other problem I have with the pairing is in Attack of the Clones where sometimes Anakins acts like a creep, which personally I find to be out of his character completely, but in the end, that's how he was written.
So, that's all the points I have for you, sorry for the entire memoir I wrote, but i feel like i have to truly say as much as i can.(in the limitations of a RUclips comment)

Honestly Adam Driver did a great job playing Kylo Ren/Ben Solo. I know alot of people didn't like him or his character but I felt he did a phenomenal job. Even Daisy Ridley was great as Rey. I loved both their chemistry they had together in the movies. I just wished the ending could've been somehow Ben lived so he and Rey could be Jedi's together and train the next generation of Jedi's or the ending be where Rey sees Ben's spirit as well with his mother Leia and uncle Luke.
We need #EmperorandEmpressSolo still to this day.
