There's never a "I love you" with the Reylo couple, but we see so much that Ben and Rey love each other madly ! The famous "You are nothing, but not to me" of Ben to Rey shocked a lot of people. Ok, Ben is very clumsy with Rey, but his declaration of love is sublime. Translation : "I am a prince. I have royal blood in my veins. My grandmother and my mother were queen and princess. You're a simple wreck pillor, Rey. But I don't care about any of this. I love you with all my soul. I'm willing to make a misalliance to be with you forever." it is sooooooooo romantic ! It's like Marc Darcy's marriage proposal to Elizabeth Bennet. It's very cold and clumsy, but how much love in these words ! Ben Solo wasn't used to flirting with girls. He was first raised by nannies droids (Han and Leia were often absent). Then Ben was raised by Luke, and finally by Snoke. It didn't teach him tact with humans, but you can feel how much Ben loves Rey. When you know his upbringing, his aptitue to love Rey is very surprising. It's almost a miracle. There's a lot of evidence that Ben's madly in love with Rey. But, in my opinion, the most interesting are the ones where Ben wants to know where Luke is hiding, to kill him. In Episode VIII, during the first connection, Ben tries to manipulate Rey to reveal to him where Luke is. But she resists. Ben immediately stops, and says to Rey : "You're wrong to play this, the effort will kill you." Ben could have continued to manipulate her. He would win in any case : Rey would bring him Luke, or she would die from resisting. Ben gives up his victory for Rey. In Episode VIII, Snoke tortures awfully Rey. Snoke gets Luke's location. But that's also what Ben has wanted to know for years. But Ben is furious with Snoke. Seeing him torment Rey like that is appalling to him. At that point, Ben doesn't give a damn about Luke. Only Rey counts. So Ben kills Snoke without seeking the much-desired Luke information, and he doesn't ask Rey any more. What Ben wants more than anything, even more than finding Luke to kill him, is to marry Rey. His love for Rey comes before his desire for revenge. And Ben saves Rey as much as she saves him. Ben says several times to Rey : "Let the past die. Let go !" because he saw that Rey was wasting her life waiting for her dead parents. He wakes her up as much as she wakes him up. Even if Ben's words make Rey suffer, they're true. Ben is honest with her. Since he is the man of her life, he unknowingly awakens the Force in Rey when he questions her for the first time. The prince awakens the princess in several ways. I think Reylo is the most beautiful couple of all Star Wars. Beauty and the Beast in the stars ! It is also a mixture of Romeo and Juliet, Jane Eyre and Pride and Prejudice. I hope that Ben is not really dead, and that Rey will find him because they were created to be together. They are soul mates in the Force, for worse and now for better.

Kylo Ren, loved Rey more than she loved him and he did not get the chance to tell her, how much he did, because he was not given too many lines to express... The writers weren't original. They kind of copy young Anakin/ Vader storyline. I'm sure they never intended for Ben to survive. I can't believe they didn't explore more of Reylo. Besides, I read about the original script " Duel of The Fates " and Ben didn't have a redemption arc and they even create a relationship between Rey and Poe. It's worse that TROS.

Personally I would like Ben to be alive but this rumour makes some sense yet all we can do is wait for the next star wars movie (as a matter of fact there is one last trilogy left of star wars which will have episodes 10,11,12 )
