Brienne is such an underrated character in terms of character assassination in the show. She was assassinated so bad that one could consider her a delusional failure the same way as the Sand Snakes. In order to honor her oath to Catelyn and protect House Stark, Brienne - Killed Stark soldiers in season 2 to protect Jaime - Heavily injured the Hound in season 4 using a Lannister Valyrian sword and a Lannister armor, which left Arya without a guardian and had to face dangers alone - Killed Stannis, who tried to reclaim Winterfell for the Starks, while at the same time abandoning Sansa in the process which forced her and Theon to jump off the castle wall in season 5 (the show kinda fixed this in season 6 by having Brienne saved them in time). What she did was so beneficial to the Boltons that Roose himself said that if he found her, he would reward her greatly - Leaving the Blackfish to die in the hands of Frey soldiers in season 6 despite having a chance to save him and help Sansa in a war effort against the Boltons, which forced Sansa to ask for Littlefinger's help which made him have a better grasp on the Starks - Begging the Starks to forgive Jaime Lannister, a guy who fathered Joffrey and crippled Bran which sparked the war in the first place, in season 8 The show portrayed the surviving Starks to be smarter than the dead ones but if they were really smart, they should have executed Brienne on site. The way she helped House Stark is the same way the Sand Snakes avenged Oberyn by killing all of his remaining families. At least the Freys, Boltons and Lannisters and even Littlefinger have enough self awareness that they are deliberately destroying House Stark for their own benefits. Meanwhile, Brienne is so delusional to think that she actually saved them.
Good god, Day 20 already?!? This has gone by so fast, can’t believe it’s almost over. I know we aren’t done but I’ve really appreciated the content mate, looking forward to the remaining 5 days and then 25 Days of Winter 2025 Cheers!
Hey thanks Mac and it is weird to me because this event was basically split in half for me as I recorded the first 12 before December started and the last like 7 of the event last weekend. Time just flew by for this event, but I am glad you enjoyed it!
I felt that Daenerys legitimizing Gendry was NOT a smart move on her part. It actually gives him just as much a claim to the throne as SHE has. 🤷♀️ I liked it for HIM, but didn’t think it was wise of HER.
The way he fights with his Hammer will remind Thorys of King Robert. He probably knew Gendry's mother because he drank with Robert. He will defeat aegon in single combat at a battle for storms end, or maybe at the Ruby Ford.
I wonder also if he will end up legitimized, as he never was recognized by his father, who slept left and right. Will it be possible for a smith to become one of the big lords of the realm? Yes, that is a bit too much, no matter what else happened. Storms End is not some small castle on the Fingers (ha-ha).
So I took it down because I did not want it to be perceived as me attacking Quinn as I have a deep respect for him and his content, and didn’t want people getting the wrong idea.
@@TheGreaseGoblins- no one who actually watched it would think that! You plugged his channel and said multiple times that he’s among the best channels for ASOIAF & GOT content. He seems like a good guy, he seems to want to protect the helpless. He also seems to be arguing with himself all the time, too.
I'm honestly not sure where Gendry is going. But I hope he becomes a legitimate Baratheon by the end of the series.

Ser Gendry, knight of the hollow hill

I think Jamie will take one look at Gendry and know who his father is. Jamie might even tell somebody.
Never even considered this possibility 🤔

What did u give up on the one true king

@TheGreaseGoblins [ if you could after number 25 can you do a video similar to him but with your ratings for the POV characters ]
@@VRILL-MASTER369. Yes I definently might revisit the topic as my views change on it regularly!
