'Official figures.' Who writes these figures 😂
Possibly the BBC 😂😂
@@mickhardstaff6605 🤣👍
They are inflating the numbers it’s so painful obviously gdp has been down
Not EXPERTS, again 😂
The ONS.
The economy is rubbish. Stagnant, per capita income falling, decrepit infrastructure, real incomes lower than in 2008, town and city centres hollowed out full of empty shops and offices. Pubs, restaurants and other hospitality on its knees. Taxation at an all time high.
Debt to GDP also 100%
Yes this is government massaging numbers. England, in particular, is not in recession? Nobody with brains believes that.
And pay the majority of tax. @@johnkitching2248
National debt is much higher than 100% to GDP.
Loads is off the books.
£230 billion of student loans.
£120 billion of OFI initiatives.
£170 billion of Local Government and NHS trust debts.
It is at least 125%.
@stephfoxwell4620 Yes. That doesn't surprise me in the least. The UK has a long history of distorting economic data. Unemployment is officially 3.9%. Don't make me laugh. It's 8% at the very least.
If Sunak thinks hard-hit households will be celebrating today, he is even more out of touch than we thought jesus.
More money to pay the hotel scroungers.
The British Economy seems to only work in 0.3% movements. I smell fudging of numbers by those who are getting desperate.
Bullshit
🤣🤣🤣 my first thought b4 seeing your comment
The economy could still be doing well without money going to ordinary people
The data is fiddled we out of recession just before the elections. 🤣
I must admit that is suspicious
Yeah right and Im the king of the universe.
Absolute rubbish.
Mental. Shops are closing in Belgravia and Pimlico. That's when you know things are really bad.
Bs
wow a miracle just in time for an election who would have guessed it 😂
If the ONS employees will not get back in the office.....sack them.
I wouldn't call 0.6% growth good news. I'd call it an embarrassment, I'd call it an abject failure of 26 years of the New Labour project. In 26 years we've gone from having an economy larger than China and India combined and having 4.9% growth to both of both those economies being stronger than ours and half a percent growth,.
USA manipulate their numbers why not Britain
Let’s not blame anyone else for Britain’s sorry state
GBN please don't go woke
They already have. Wake up!
@@martynblackburn9632Utter crap.
GBN please don't report anything factual
@@El.Cid17 GBNews was set up by Liberty Global and taken over by Legatum. Gradually GBNews became woke by attacking the traditional woke (or "woke warriors") setting up culture war-based strawman arguments against them. The GBNews woke is pro-Christian, pro-royal and pro-Tory. Whenever the "woke" attack traditional religion, the instutition of the royals, and the Tories for being too right wing, the GBNews line of attack is to be woke about who they are defending: open to injustice of the plight of Christianity, monarchy, and the right wing. GBNews is woke, it's just right wing woke.
@@chkldstgee2433 Seems to upset people, if they do.
The economists proved wrong again.
How convenient when it's coming up for a general election.

1:10 Wow disability benefits, going after the disabled, I didn't realise that targeting the most vulnerable people in society was a good thing to do "for the country" but what do I know maybe we should tip the disabled out of their wheelchairs into a 9 to 5 job to get that GDP up!?
The idea is to wind people up about them so as to take the sheep mind off the fact that the government squanders tax payer money.
Get real.
Deplorable. I work damn hard, but I have no problem with my taxes being used to support people who are disabled. It's what we're supposed to do as a society.
It is to distract the ordinary people from the fact that their politicians have made their lives difficult and enriched themselves and their cronies.
@@El.Cid17 I'm for real, it's this guy who's unreal talking about targeting the disabled!?
Next week, we are bankrupt take more tory medicine- again.
Will not watch GB news if you stand by the lies .
World like to see what the people on the street have to say.
So will that mean houses will be affordable food prices will drop by half of what they are fuel prices will plummet ,I don't think so
You'd have to half wages, first.
Funny thing is it is really hard to fool people who buy food and pay bills every day. Are you really sure you want to go with this explanation?
Are they the same people, queuing at the airport, for they're third holiday this year?
@@El.Cid17 Probably not those are the ones that most likely have cush government jobs or some credit left they have not used up already.
@@El.Cid17 what planet are you on. Holiday in this economy. Closest to a holiday you'll get is your beach and a pound ice-cream

definition of recession, two consecutive quarters of decline in a country's real (inflation-adjusted) gross domestic product (GDP)-the value of all goods and services a country produces.

Fantastic to see that things are on the up and up. It's early days but I have definitely seen some positive changes recently
Winston S. Churchill - 'I only believe in statistics that I doctored myself'
BBC also reports we’re out of recession
'Some for good reason, Some maybe not for good reason.' Big claim, backed by nothing.
