Fun fact: the second shelljump practice level is considered so uselessly hard and akward (the creator is so used to those jumps he didn't realize it) it was spammed in everyone's viewer levels streams on twitch for a while just to see them suffer

getting kaizo'd at the end of GrandPooBear's shell jump tutorial is definitely one of my most memorable Mario Maker experiences.

I didn't notice which channel this was on and assumed it was NRG. I assumed this was training on NRG so that PointCrow, Easy, and Kosmic actually stood a chance :P

I would say I can't believe how much of a natural Kosmic is at this advanced tech, but I actually totally believe it. Who else can you imagine just picking up this game and getting these tricks so quickly?
Kosmic is clearly talented but he has been playing 2d mario for a long time and also mario maker lately so it's not like it's his first time playing 2d mario or even this game

I mean, CarlSagan42 was pretty much the first gaming channel, I ever subscribed to on RUclips. As followed some like GPB, Ryukahr (who I don´t follow anymore) or BarbarousKing.
But I never actually played Mario Maker, but I´ve played SMB and SML, since I was a child.
So the prospect of Kosmic doing a collab with one of them one day excites tf out of me.....

watching this made me realized all my shell jumps were the controlled ones.... which explains why they are super inconsistent...
Now all you have to do is practice these and your set for greatness

I am a kaizo expert and I've been trying the second shell jump for 2 days now and I don't think its possible

I played the shell jump level before I watched this and the drop shot section took me about 15mins but I did the rest in 5 or 10 tries.
drop shell jumps are annoying personally
What kind of weirds me out a little is that Kosmic sonds kind of bummed out a lot of the times, when he´s not playing all that great. But him being a former world record holder must know better than anyone of us, that practice is key.
That´s why I really like to see, where this is going. So far, I´m VERY excited.....
I think most people watching streams/videos misinterpret any emotion that isn't "ecstatic and absolute enthusiasm" lol. If you're not doing RUclips intro shouting people think you are tired/sad.
@@Kosmicd12 Ah, I don´t know, if that´s necessarily true. It can get annoying pretty quickly. Also, for example I like BarbarousKing very much. Unfortunately he has stopped playing Mario Maker for good, but whenever he played bad, he just laughed it off or made some complaints. I think, keyword is passion. But everyone is different and I definitely love you, too man! I told you before, I see what you post occasionally on other people´s channels, too. I think the way, you interact with our community is quite admirable and should show in and of itself how passionate you are deep to the core.
BarbarousKing on the other hand, mostly comes off as not giving a shit. It´s basically just a kind of type of personality type of deal. I like me some of the occasional asshole humor, too. That´s why I unsubscribed from Ryukahr for instance. Just too nice and family friendly overall. Seemed just too unphased most of the time.
Can someone tell me how i can recreate the double shell jump mechanik on 4:42 ?
I build it exactly like in the video but after the door reset, the P-Blocks disappear and only the enemys spawn.
Is there like a glitch to do that in the editor?
Can someone explain how to perform a boxwall jump in 3D world?
