  • During my recent recovery I decided to knit golf club covers for charity which seemed to be very popular, raising currently over £400 for two cancer charities. I decided to share my knitting with you, as the patterns I found were for knitting in the round which I can't do - I adapted one to suit using two needles and has been very easy to do so why not give it a go yourself!

      @@TheGolfingPrincess I was curious, is the 7 inches (32 rows) of stockinette mentioned on your end of video graphic for the hybrid cover correct? Seems that would be awfully big for a smaller club head and is the same inches as stated for the driver. Help?

    Not knitted for about 30 year and then only made a couplemof baby cardigans, made a cover for my driver Thank you. I need to work on the sewing it together it's not very neat and also when you do a pearl row do you start and finish with a knit stich?

    • @TheGolfingPrincess
      @TheGolfingPrincess  Год назад

      Hi there so sorry for the delayed response. So yes I do a knit at the end of every row even the purl rows, it just keeps the edges a little neater. It took me ages to do the stitching near so it’s just a bit of trial and error on that 😊😊

    When you are doing the stripes you said 3 rows and then 4. Do you mean knit one, purl one, knit one then change color? I’m trying to make this now and my stripes look much smaller.
    I’m still very much a beginner so I’m trying to learn as much as I can!

    • @TheGolfingPrincess
      @TheGolfingPrincess  Год назад

      Hi Cassie sorry for the delay I’ve been out of the country with no internet. So if you’re doing 3 rows then 4, you’ll knit a row, purl a row, knit a row then change colour and do P1, K1, P1, K1 then change again and do P1, k1, P1 and so on. Hope that makes sense 😊

    What did you do with all the ends of the colour change? Did you sew them in?

    • @TheGolfingPrincess
      @TheGolfingPrincess  3 года назад +1

      Hi sorry for the delay I've had issues with comments, all fixed now! So if only one or two colour changes I sew them into the seam from the inside. when I do lots of colour changes I ensure I do a reef knot with the change and after I've sewn the seam ensuring the tails are on the inside, I trim them short - they're not seen from the inside and the reef knot is secure enough to not work loose
