- During my recent recovery I decided to knit golf club covers for charity which seemed to be very popular, raising currently over £400 for two cancer charities. I decided to share my knitting with you, as the patterns I found were for knitting in the round which I can't do - I adapted one to suit using two needles and has been very easy to do so why not give it a go yourself!

This is AWESOME thanks so much. Love your easy-peasy instructions.. You are so fun!
You're welcome ;)
fantastic tutorial! thank you so much for this, im making one for a coworker right now 😊
i just finished making mine and it came out beautiful, thank you so much for the great tutorial!!
Your tutorial video is terrific! You gave excellent detailed instruction. One down, 5 more to go
Thank you so much hope you’re a few more down now 🤞🤞
Knit 2, pearl 2, we all love vindaloo. Taking me back to my childhood, sparks used to fly off my mother's knitting needles
Love it! So relaxing knitting 🥰
Dear Corinne
I really enjoyed your video. I have made quite a few for myself and friends they are easy to do and very satisfying to make.
Elaine
Hi Elaine thank you so much, they’re great little trinkets to make and easy to customise too, I’ve made quite a few for charity now so all good 🥰
Hubby has asked for knitted club covers for Christmas this year and your terrific tutorial fits the bill perfectly! Thank you for sharing! Starting the driver cover right now. ❤️🎄
No worries you’re more than welcome🥰. Enjoy 👏👏
@@TheGolfingPrincess I was curious, is the 7 inches (32 rows) of stockinette mentioned on your end of video graphic for the hybrid cover correct? Seems that would be awfully big for a smaller club head and is the same inches as stated for the driver. Help?
This is great, thank you. I think I will try to knit in the round with the double point needles, wish me luck!
Great tutorial, thank you! 😄
Amazing stuff. You are very good. Well done x
Thank you ☺️☺️
Amazingly done! wondering for the instructions on the other types but the end video gave me the answer! I always have done crochet, but I am so excited to try knitting with this video, GREAT explanation!! I am trying to make a Mallet, how many inches for this club?
Hi sorry for the delayed response I've been having issues with my comments - all fixed now! When you say mallet do you mean a putter?
48:43 minutes of why did I watch it 😬 🤣 🤣 ohhhhh Well its content 🤔end product is ace by the way 👍 helped me just about beat Geoff today 🙈🤣🤣🤣
At least you can see the effort that goes into them! Ah you got out then, he was saying about playing yesterday afternoon good shout!
@@TheGolfingPrincess yeah played at his course, Wath. Nice little track 👍shame about the front 9 cost me a great round 😭
Very good 👍🏻
Not knitted for about 30 year and then only made a couplemof baby cardigans, made a cover for my driver Thank you. I need to work on the sewing it together it's not very neat and also when you do a pearl row do you start and finish with a knit stich?
Hi there so sorry for the delayed response. So yes I do a knit at the end of every row even the purl rows, it just keeps the edges a little neater. It took me ages to do the stitching near so it’s just a bit of trial and error on that 😊😊
Thanks for a fabulous tutorial. What type of yarn are you using? Thanks!
Thanks, sorry for the late response I've not been getting notifications for comments. I just use standard 4-ply wool
When you are doing the stripes you said 3 rows and then 4. Do you mean knit one, purl one, knit one then change color? I’m trying to make this now and my stripes look much smaller.
I’m still very much a beginner so I’m trying to learn as much as I can!
Hi Cassie sorry for the delay I’ve been out of the country with no internet. So if you’re doing 3 rows then 4, you’ll knit a row, purl a row, knit a row then change colour and do P1, K1, P1, K1 then change again and do P1, k1, P1 and so on. Hope that makes sense 😊
That's fifty minutes of my life I won't get back 🤣🤣🤣
You've got Debi started now...we'll have wool all over the chuffing house 😨
Excellent 👏👏👏👏 you were warned to be fair if it’s content 🤣🤣🤣
Stick to phone tapping 😅😅
@@funnystuff9954 Eh??? Very relatable, phone tapping 😂😂😂
I’m hard hearing and didn’t understand most of you speaking, can you provide written instructions for me?
I loved the pictures.
Not sure what size needles or yarn weight you used.
Sorry to cause you any inconveniece but hope you an help me out.
Thank you very much
Norma
All the instructions are at the end written down for you - I used double knit but you can use any you want to be fair
Is there a way to get the written pattern/instructions?
If you pause it at the end and take a screenshot when the instructions are up, thats probably the best way
@@TheGolfingPrincess Thank you! Did you just leave the ends inside from the color changes?
I would avoid using a textured table cloth so the camera will focus on your hands and we can actually see what you're doing. One of the only tutorials for this on RUclips and while the instructions are great I can't see a thing a lot of the time
Hi thanks for the comment, I’d not thought about that aspect to be fair, if I do any more I’ll change the cloth thank you 😊😊😊
Very Good..i must be honest skipped through it but a great product....Whos a clever girl then?
terrific! how often do you add stitches?
Only on 4 rows from memory, I seem to think if you scroll to the end of the video there’s written instructions on additional stitches etc, it’s been a while since I made them 🤣
What did you do with all the ends of the colour change? Did you sew them in?
Hi sorry for the delay I've had issues with comments, all fixed now! So if only one or two colour changes I sew them into the seam from the inside. when I do lots of colour changes I ensure I do a reef knot with the change and after I've sewn the seam ensuring the tails are on the inside, I trim them short - they're not seen from the inside and the reef knot is secure enough to not work loose
Oh where did you get the Pom Pom maker, I like it.
Norma
I just ordered it off eBay, not very expensive at all 👍
What weight of wool do you use for your club head covers?
Hi, so I just used normal DK wool nothing else, if you use thicker wool you may need to reduce the stitches
Hello,
Quick question do you still make these and if so do you take orders or can you point me in the direction of who might
Hi Filipe yes I can still make them. On my YT channel on the about section there’s an email address - drop me an email and I’ll be in touch 👍. I made them last year during my surgery recovery following breast cancer, raising money for cancer research and breast cancer now. Funnily enough I’ve just had surgery again so have time on my hands to recover - perfect timing 👍👍
@@TheGolfingPrincess can’t find the email I will try and contact through FB
Hi. I keep trying to do a screenshot of the driver instructions but unable to. Please can you send them to me as the video is too quick. Thank you.
Hi I’ll pop it in a message on here either later this evening or tomorrow - I’ve just had a quick look and you should be able to pause the video at the end to note it down but if not I’ll pop them on a response 👍
I can’t find the instructions for the middle and larger size. Help!
What sizes are you wanting to do? I think if you scroll to the end of the video I’ve put instructions at the end 👍
@@TheGolfingPrincess Oh yes silly me. Thanks
Hi, may I know any written instructions.
Thank you.
What p,y wool are you using?
Hi, I use 4-ply usually but if you use something thicker or thinner just adjust the stitches up or down as you need but keep in multiples of 4 👍
Me gustaría que fuera mucho en español gracias 🙏
