CORRECTION: #34 THE BEST ANSWER IS "C" and #58 IS ALSO "C". Sorry for the inconvenience. Special thanks to @Deisha Bailey Browne in the comments section for pointing these out

Question 34 you indicated D, ensure wider distribution but shouldn't the primary function of advertising be to inform the public of vital information and the benefit of using social media or integrated marketing be ensure wider distribution of goods? Just my thoughts

Great help. Can you check Q. 58 again? Deflation negative effects.

Can you expound so more on employment levy on firms in question 58? I get what you are saying with regards to deflation, however in researching deflation it appears to contribute to further unemployment.

The truth is that question is somewhat faulty. If you note all those options can in some way negatively affect the employers bottom line. If income tax is increased then people have less disposable income which can reduce demand which can lead to less production and thus layoffs. Employment levy on firms can lead to increased cost of production which can reduce supply which means there will be no need for that current level of labour. An increase in interest rates means that money becomes expensive to borrow and so investments will fall which can lead to a fall in the need for workers. I chose that answer because I am assuming cxc is simply talking about controlling inflation. In other words the government is reducing the level of inflation in the economy to keep it from overheating. Some inflation can help the economy but too much will hurt the economy. But for sure a long and sustained level of deflation will lead to more unemployment

But you can look at employment levy as the lesser of two evils. Its a pooling of funds in a sense to aid in the development of workers. So from that perspective it can be an answer. Since multiple choice is about the best answer that can work.

@@LEARNSKN is employment levy a tax the government places on firms or is it a requirement by goverment forcing firms to hire persons like on the job/apprentureship training? Still a bit not clear
