He had a back injury about 9 years back and couldn't play drums anymore, and also has footdrop in one of his legs, which happened more recently as a result of nerve damage from his back injury. He was mobile when he announced his tour. He's almost 70, but people still want to see him, dude has such a huge catalogue. He has most of his old-school band mates as well.
