Great video. I recently had coolant spray all under my hood and engine while driving. Would it most likely be a top radiator hose? Any suggestions. Im assuming its not the radiator because how would it spray all under the hood.

That “T” area popped on my 2.0 Dart while driving. I lifted my hood and coolant was spraying every where. I got a ride to an O’Reillys and got a new “T” I don’t remember if I replaced the hose or not but the “T” is plastic and it was corroded. I changed it on the side of the road and added coolant and haven’t had an issue since. Well now coming from my reservoir tank is a hissing sound from the plastic nipple and hose area. I love it around a little and the noise goes away. I need a new tank because the plastic is old breaking. Hope this helps.

What he said above , these plastic T's and other plastic fittings are notorious for leaking , and worse case ruining engines. Thanks for the feedback.

@jevonrussell3159 just noticed your reply, I already figured it out. But yes that's exactly what it was. The top radiator hose t connector snapped. Couldn't find the t connector on its own so I had to replace the whole hose assembly that came with the t connector. Thanks for both of your replys.

👍👍Good day to you. Please tell me, I changed the engine oil and after a few days the hydraulic compensator on side A rattled. Could the reason be in the oil. GMC Acadia 2008. Thank you, all the best.

That is very strange indeed. I would say if the same oil was used and the proper level there should be no change. I feel like the pcv system on these may be inadequate , and also the oil wants to gum up over time. If you have not looked , you might pull one of the valve covers and take a look. Hope it is nothing major. As always I thank you for your great feedback.

Have a nice day. I thank you for your kind reply. Dear, I change the oil every 6000km. I live far from America, we have European oils with tolerances, there were no problems before these oils. Not long ago I came across AC Delco 5w30 dexos1, compared to it it was a little thick and brown, it started with it. two compensators knock. Forgive me for scribbling a lot. God bless you.

my t piece exploded no exaggeration!! but i replaced it afterwards the guage was pretty much sitting where it should but im noticing smoke coming from the radiator there is a rectangular piece thats wet but the main radiator piece behind the rectangular piece is bone dry

im wondering if there is a leak or if the excess from the t exploding is causing the smoke

it's hard understanding if there's a leak because once the t piece exploded the coolant went everywhere

Yes very common for these to go all at once. Good thing you caught before it could cause any damage. All that coolant will need to dry and burn off before you can tell anything. But most likely just the coolant that sprayed everywhere. Thanks for the feedback.
