I've had nothing but exceptional care from the VA. I am very thankful for them as I cannot afford Medicare. Don't knock them, you're a vet and you might need them one day.
If you do need a hospital for anything other than an accident you are eating wrong. No drugs will fix a bad diet. Carnivore saved by brother from the VA doctors who are only pushing treatments and drugs. On Jan,1,2023 he started Carnivore.Today he is off almost all the drugs and his weight has retreated to what he weighed while on active duty,165 lbs. His arteries are all now clear after open heart surgery with 2 additional stents and congestive heart failure with an ejection fraction of 40. His ejection fraction is over 60 now and the va doctors couldn't believe that he was down 100 lbs in less than a year so asked him how he went from deaths door to being so healthy? He told them and they claimed he was going to have another heart attack. This is what you can expect from any hospital, doctors when they can't explain the amazing cure that they couldn't deliver.
I do a ton of trades work at a large regional VA hospital that actually offers a wide variety of services. There are a lot of mixed reviews of the services. It's still too hard to get referrals to specialists. No highly competant nurses apply there. They have no nurse practicianers and few PAs. But, many dentists and doctors. They absolutely positively waste massive amounts of money. They did a project that dumps 10s of thousands of gallons of water down the drain each month. But, don't worry - they can't get sued for bacteria now, and it's controlled by electronics that will save the planet.
Got flashed the highbeams the other day while driving on the highway and was appreciative of it. I usually practice the same decency. Kind of funny how people can show solidarity for eachother when it comes to police trying to give out speeding tickets 🫡😆
We were definitely on the alternate TIMELINE Doc warned us about, but we seem to be back on the right one again. Doc and Marty must have fixed it! Belgium invented Fried taters. Seriously they did.
What's even worse about insurance rate hikes is when you don't even use it, but other people use theirs, and the company raises your rates to cover all the stuff they had to pay out. This happened to me a few years ago with my homeowner's insurance. The memorably hard winter Texas had a few years ago had excess hail storms, and that raised my rates even though I didn't have hail damage. I switched companies.
I (seriously) was PISSED off with my car insurance doubling right after 2020 and sold my car! I barely drove anywhere, zero tickets or accidents in 20 damned years . My car just hit 20 years old with only 92,000 miles on it . Perfect shape! Well maintained. No one was even calling me about it! Turns out people thought it was a shame till a trucker just needed a second car so his wife didn't have to drive him at 4am to get to his truck. He freaked the hell out when he saw it! Took it for a drive and did more examining then asked Why I was selling it for so cheap! He was a super happy guy that day! LoL 🤣

NOW all you need to do is learn how to spell “its.” DUMBBELL!!
NICE!!!
Same, but with a CD. 😋
And I’d bet that you can place the needle just so and not scratch the album! Me too 😅
@@Justanothersoldier-bb6wb Sure do, didn't spend the 80s selling music in a record store for nothing, and later CD's.
I'm taking an environmental science class (not by choice), and let me tell you, it has been difficult trying to hold in my laughter for most of the class. Thankfully it ends soon.
Let out the laughter on the last day!

I got an apology from an always vote blue no matter who after one year of Biden. I told him if Biden won we were in big trouble. We argued, got a little heated and left it there. One year later he apologized and said I was right!
. . . and now we end up with the tariffs guy.
Out of the frying pan and into the fire.
@
We will see. When manufacturing comes back to the USA and people no longer owe the government nearly half of their income.
@@chamonix2602I’m not usually a fan of tariffs, but when other countries are imposing them on us, kind of seems like we should be doing the same to them. That creates a tariff war, but at least it evens the playing field.
@ True, it's just that I see tariffs like an extra tax to pay.
@@tcbink I believe it will be more difficult to manufacture stuff in the US if the companies need to import parts from elsewhere. Tariffs seem a bit anti-business.
When I was growing up it was a very common thing for other drivers to warn you about upcoming speed traps by flashing their lights on and off at you. i had someone do this for me a couple of weeks ago and it made my day because I hadn't seen it for so long. We should bring this back.
What Skill set do I possess that people no longer use? Knowing how to use the card catalog in the Public Library.
💯
God bless America!!!
To be fair Dove make chocolate too, must have gotten them mixed up 😆
Isn't that some white chocolate?
Different Dove company! I checked it out one time. Since one does food and the other beauty products, as well as have different company icons, it's legal.
90’s skill, I had nearly 100 phone numbers in my head.
867-5309 damn you Tommy Two Tone!
And alot of those numbers are STILL there. Old addresses, too.
12:26 ATV Offroad Fury Zed may be talking about that one. I also loved that game & just downloaded the ROM about a year ago to replay it. It is STILL so good! I went thru & beat career mode again
come on 100?
I still know my home phone number from high school after 45 years. I cannot remember the last two, which I had for 5 years each.
Even as an Englishman with a vague idea of American politics, the Hilary one really did make me laugh.
Lost skill--the ability to give change
Back in those days we still had seasonal fruit only. So apples and oranges were in season and were considered a real treat. We got tangerines in our stockings too, along with some chocolates
Yes. We got nuts and fruit in our stockings. Maybe a little candy.
In the early 70s we always got seasonable oranges and grapefruits in the late fall from the FFA boys selling them as fund raisers
A tangerine in the toe a baggie of Gramma cookies in the arch, 4 Hershey's kisses in the heel. A paperback book, and a rolled up pair of socks in the leg, and a candy cane hooked on the top. Variations on a theme, but basically the same stocking 1965-2000.
Trump's resignation letter to McDonald's was epic 😂
I want the 70's and 80's back!
Born in 63 baby and I've never seen a better President! I read maps rotary phones and phone books are all part of my repetoire!
Thank you for YOUR service, too, dude. Go Navy!
Looks like armies kicking ass this year go army
You can stay outside without getting a mosquito bite but you can get frostbite 😂
R.i.p to those who try the surstrommin. Megan bless you for taking one for the team😂.
Hillary and Nancey should not even be in the frame anymore. Out of touch to even their own party.
no, it used to just be a common courtesy. If you go by a parked cop, down the road you flash lights at oncoming traffic to let them know to slow down. It's a lost art
Skill sets I have that people no longer use: 1. Drive a stick shift. 2. Work a mimeograph machine. 3. Mastery of an IBM Correcting Selectric typewriter. 4. Balancing a checkbook.
The flying carp: Ospreys carry fish in line with their body to make them more aerodynamic! Pretty cool to watch!
Too bad that carp wasn't a pet. Could've called it a flying carp pet.
I almost spit out my coffee at the Gen X HEART .
Same here brother
I do a ton of trades work at a large regional VA hospital that actually offers a wide variety of services. There are a lot of mixed reviews of the services.
It's still too hard to get referrals to specialists. No highly competant nurses apply there. They have no nurse practicianers and few PAs. But, many dentists and doctors.
They absolutely positively waste massive amounts of money. They did a project that dumps 10s of thousands of gallons of water down the drain each month. But, don't worry - they can't get sued for bacteria now, and it's controlled by electronics that will save the planet.
I LOST😢 Damn Hillary‼️😂😂😂😂
Gen X here. Our heart is real.
Nice job with the "hearts" Meagan.
Sling shotting a 1/4" steel ball bearing into a soup can from 100' away so I could actually hit that damn squirrel 20' from me. LOL
RIP Pnut 😔
How do you not know that flashing your lights is to warn someone that there's a cop coming so that they will slow down?
Solidarity in these streets!
Got flashed the highbeams the other day while driving on the highway and was appreciative of it.
I usually practice the same decency.
Kind of funny how people can show solidarity for eachother when it comes to police trying to give out speeding tickets
🫡😆
those apples - because back in my days, apples were hard to get during winter.
In Australia is always been common courtesy to flash your headlights if there's a speed camera. Radio stations give out locations too 👍
I don't mention politics to any members of my family. I just go in the garage and laugh until I get dizzy.
We were definitely on the alternate TIMELINE Doc warned us about, but we seem to be back on the right one again. Doc and Marty must have fixed it! Belgium invented Fried taters. Seriously they did.
The way the potatoes are cut is what is called French style. Any vegetable cut in strips is French cut.
I haven't been here for a while.. just wanted to say, that mustache looks so much better with a bit of beard to back it up.
If you have enough weed in your blood, mosquitoes completely leave you alone. I have only been bitten once in the last 4 years.
O+ blood and I drink Fireball . I get eaten alive! LoL 😂
LoL 🤣
I held it together until the Louisiana Reindeer. Well played, Mr. Zed.
6:06 Yes, the "Gen-X heart" is accurate----Deal with it! 🤣
19:21 I can dial a rotary phone. I can drive a stick shift. I could change channels without a remote.
23:29 "He just got re-hired at his old job." That's funny right there."
We just got a new car for the first time. 2020 Manual Camero💪😎🇺🇸 we were surprised they still sell them.
at 16:47 dang that gaming chair even came fully stocked with apple cider🤣😅
My car insurance AND home insurance have BOTH gone up $2,000+ in the past two years....thanks, Joe....and Kamala!
12:30 this clip just brought me back to CD ROM days; anyone remember, Legos?
Rage Against the Machine has become the very thing it was raging against.
Tom Morello isn't Rage. Zach is Rage and always was. Tom plays guitar and runs his mouth about shit he doesn't know what he's talking about. Zach writes amazing music and has something to say.
They made some good money and they liked it and want to continue to so into the future. So now they rage against those who are against the machine. Hahah
Rage on behalf of the machine.
@@weaksause6878when they were still together, they played at the democrat national convention in support of Clinton, despite the fact that the Democrats are the cause of all of issues Zach wrote about. They’ve always been sellouts, even Zach.
They also charge over $600 for their concerts today. Once again showing you that all these pathetic leftists are all anti-capitalist... Until they get old and Rich themselves then they don't mind maintaining the status quo.
Nirvana is my favorite band of all time and I love them even more because they are stuck in a nice little time capsule from the late 80s to the mid-90s and so they will not be ruined by 21st century woke politics...
Dumbass Dave grohl yeah he screwed himself and the Foo fighters over but Nirvana was Kurt Cobain's band.
A married ant lives longer than a single one.
No it just feels that way
Vet here….the VA Today is NOTHING like the VA even ten years ago. The other day I went to Urgent Care, got X-rays, picked up a prescription, and was home in two hours. Unbelievable! Now back in the day, I go WAY back, (1973) I saw guy dying on stretchers in the hallway….it was a nightmare…to say 1985, every visit was a minimum all day adventure.
I’m talking about our local Va Martinez California….kudos to the fantastic staff in their entirety…. Thx to all.
Good Job Meagan. You are so very Brave.
I'm not born before 1990, but rather in 1991. And I possess the skill of reading an analogue clock, a skill that is now becoming extinct 💀
The cat has an Only Cans account.
I have gotten my deer on the first day of deer season, however, I used a Honda Civic SI.
Many years ago I got a buck first day of deer season with a 3/4 ton pickup. Loaded him in the back and took him home to my husband, who was not happy. He’d been out all day and didn’t get his.😂
Waiting for my bumper and windshield to get fixed. I got mine out of season tho
Sounds like Michigan!
3:24 More like, "Chaos Control!"😂
I thought the same. 😂

No-shave November looking good. Hoping for Brandon Herrera for ATF Director. 1982 and the use of cursive in writing.
Can i get some praise too for still going for No Nut November?
21:40 Chuck Norris went skydiving. He pulled the main chute and it failed to open. He pulled the reserve chute and it too failed to open. So he returned it the next day for a full refund.
Got the sales tax back too!
That's one thing you don't hear a lot of....the old skydivers sitting at the bar talking about the times their chutes didn't open ...

well if you wouldn't no one should!

Meagan tracing out the hand symbols that vaguely resemble a heart had me 😂😂😂
