Are there any good techniques to drill the holes properly? To get everything aligned as intended? I feel like that is my biggest concern when mounting my wing.
There are a few ways to do it but 1 method is to thread the bolts into the wing and add some peanut butter to the tip of the hardware and carefully mock up the wing. The goal is to have the peanut butter transfer to your trunk lid where they line up with bolts for your wing. Another method is using masking tape to create a template of the underside of the wing, marking the bolt holes. Then use masking tape to cover the trunk lid, mock up the wing, and then mark the outline of the wing onto the masking tape. Then use the template of the underside of the wing and match it with the outline of the wing on the trunk. The markings you made for bolt holes will then show where you need to drill 💪
