@@ChristinesHomeAffairs sorry I am a bit late getting back. Must remember to do that. Now about to try a fork on a pair of jeans. but definitely will still need one of these babies. Merry Christmas.
Hemming for home hems not customers. You can sew up to the hump. Sew backwards and forwards to your stopping point. Raise your pressure foot. Take the pants out from under the pressure foot. Move the pants over to the other side of the pant. Make a knot. Forward, Backwards, Forward. Continue and finish the hem. If necessary do the same on the other seam. Trim your threads including the hump threads. I have never none the hem to fail
Great tip. I am from South Africa and do a lot of alterations for clients. I use a button to jump the humps. I definately need this handy little tool!
Buttons are a great substitute for this. 😀
Excellent, every day's a school day. Thank you.
Thank you Stewart😁😁
You are a wonderful teacher!!!
Wow, thank you!😊
Thank you for your wonderful explanation of hemming pants. I should be able to do this better now that I have seen your demo.
That's so wonderful Bonnie. Good luck! 😄
Great instruction lesson
Thank you 😁
Thank you for your video, very useful tutorial.
Glad it was helpful Richard😊
Very helpful, Christine. Now, all I need is a hump jumper. Always hate those seams. Always had to go very slowly by hand winding.
Thanks Colleen. Next time you're in town, drop in. I still have some in stock😊

Had no idea how to use a hump jumper! Thank you for the demo. Would love to see some tips on replacing zips in jeans, please.
Great suggestion! I've added it to my list, and next time I get an alteration for jeans, i'll do a video 😊

Thank you for sharing your expertise.
Thank you for your postings 💕
Irene, I charge $15 au for jeans 😀
Does anybody know if Walmart has a hump jumper? Or maybe Hobby Lobby, or Michael's?
They should be readily available at any sewing store Laura. Amazon has them too😁
