This has been so amazing to learn! I bought a specialty tool “big jig” for this purpose and happened to come across your video when looking up how to use that - and realized I already had what I needed!! Thank you for your video! Worked perfectly for the bulky seams on my drapes.
I must be using this wrong. So, when I first learned to hem jeans it was hammer the seams and go really slow, and with the machine I have now getting skipped stitches. Always looking for a better, easier, more straight forward way. I took a lesson and they used the seam from cut jeans. Tried that worked great, but the frayed sides got in the way. So, got a hump jumper used the same as the seam and I get horrible skipped stitches. So, not sure what doing wrong, but pretty much using as the cut seam.
One of those came with my sewing machine. After 10 years, I finally know what it’s for. Thanks!,
Wow! Awesome tip! As a 5ft tall (short) woman I always have to hem jeans. This will help immensely! Thank you!
That’s a wonderful product! Where has it been all my life? This will be an amazing tool for every sewing room.
Thank you for the video, very informative and clear. Now I'll buy one :)

When sewing on the needle it might stay in place a little better if you use double sided tape?
I live in uk and just purchase a “bulky seam aid” which is the same, thank you
